Looks like one of the teams that got promoted into Zeta, has been gutted, that is unfortunate.

Nah they weren't gutted. About 3 games before the playoffs their original owner hit 2 weeks inactive. Team PM'd support and had it sold back. Everyone on the team then requested day 40 contracts.

New owner came in, made about two posts, and most guys got worried that they had another inactive owner. Stoutone their GM tried to hold it together, but fear of two inactive owners in a row is hard to combat. Everyone had Day 40 contracts (given out before ownership changed hands) so most guys decided to test out the waters elsewhere.

Nah, its not gutting... gutting is what occurs when the owner maliciously removes all the players and gives his guys big bonuses before releasing them.

This is just a change of ownership... Most of the time when a team gets sold back, the players bail.

Good point. I guess it just depends on the way you define the term. When i team loses all its players and basically has to refill the entire roster, I call it a gut. But your point is well taken.

Most the agents followed me to a different team in SE A #1 that is/was being rebuilt. We set out to win a championship and part ways, but a few wanted to stay together so I found a place for us that should workout well. I'm in the process of trying to get ownership of the team right now but I believe support is way behind with all the new team releases.

I'll be filling the roster with almost all low level CPU's and a few people that want playing time, I have a few buddy's that like creating QB's. I pondered the thought of trying to get the best CPU players I could find and see how I'd do, but decided not to waste the cash on them and take a season to rebuild or something from A again. All I'll do is test some defensive AI formations probably.
