We've only missed 27 tackles as a team through 6 games. I'll take it.

Like us you haven't played anyone. When you play the better teams the mt's will go up.

They may go up but I'm not worried about the sky rocketing numbers some are seeing.

We saw the writing on the wall about tackling last season and started addressing it then.

The rest of us addressed it as well. When players with 70+ tackling are routinely missing tackles it's obviously not a build problem.

As t-money pointed out it's not just the increase in missed tackles. It's the new missed tackle code combined with the new blocking code that is causing the problem. Only one of them was needed to buff the running game.

We haven't even discussed lber pathing which Bort has acknowledged isn't functioning correctly. Lbers are taking themselves out of plays routinely.

I'll agree that this is the most screwed up season that I've seen so far.

But the tackling thing isn't half as annoying to me as the "Jerry Rice Syndrome" that T mentions.

I guess somewhere Mike Leach is smiling with a Jack Daniels bottle as he enters code.

There are definitely sim problems again this year but IMO none was worse than last season for us with the ridiculous turnovers and attrocious passing game. Maybe some things have been tweaked the opposite direction but I'm not complaining because finally something favors us for a change and we'll ride it as long as it lasts.

Yeah, the INT thing screwed us last year to but I don't think that it was totally the sim that was our problem last year. We fixed some build problems with our QBs and are doing ok so far.

But you have a new QB who has never taken build advice from your team?

Just for the record before Cerneo jumps on this and says that I was told my build was crap and needed help.....no one told me that. I figured out the problem last season and fixed it by switching around equipment and spending my points more wisely. That's not to say that I haven't had help with my build......I've gotten plenty of advice from law and I've given plenty of advice back to Andrew on other aspects of building a QB.

There's nothing wrong with getting advice about your build.

Good teams, in my opinion, work together to optimize their build and don't leave everyone to do it on their own.

Wow you jumped on it before I could even say anything. I figured out what I was missing talking to someone that was apart of the Stonecutters last season and so far it has helped me out. I've gotten advice from Law on other aspects of a QB.

Yes I understand that but according to the almighty Cerneo, I joined your team after magically gutting the Stonecutters when I had 0 powers to do so only to be told that my build was complete crap and the Roughnecks fixed it for me.

Dude, seriously. You need to get off his jock. I don't know what your major malfunction is but you are one annoying SOB this season.
