Does the player XP carry over from season to season? I'd hate to be at 950 XP on the last day of the season and then start back at 0 XP in season 2!

I believe it carries over.

It is for n seasons from the day you signed the contract (n for number of seasons the contract states)

If you look at your team's roster you will see all the salaries and what day the contract ends. It is all based on the day you sign it.
