In any case, take a look at who brought who up first. In the 10th post of this thread and for no particular reason Shield.Bearer mentions us. You guys are the ones feeling the burn. You guys came out with so much bravado only to have reality expose you guys being all bark, no bite. Now you guys have to live with that. Sucks, huh?

You know about rocks and glass houses, right? I'm glad you are going to avoid all threads about the Hawks. If you can't take the heat, get the fuck out of the fire...

Wow getting in the way back Machine. Pretty sure, the people at Pearl Harbor didn't do anything to the citizens of Japan before they attacked us. And I'd have done the same thing at the time.

Pearl Harbor was a military base or whatever you might want to call it. They were attacking military ships. Killing people who were at least in some way tied to the military. To compare that to the genocide of Enola Gay is just as insensitive as me disbelieving the fact that you know anyone even remotely connected to 911 and thus asking for a picture of this imaginary persons's dead body's remains.

You think that that is an isolated instance of the bullshit and horrible things that your sacrosanct military does, you must truly be a peon.

You remember DDAY, attacking Mainland Japan would have been suicide. Japan was called the Greater East Asia Co Prosperity sphere during the war. We would have had to launch so many amphious assaults (water to land attacks) the death toll may have been higher then from the dropping of the bombs.

3000 or so military related personnel dying at a military base versus over 100,000, most of which were innocent civilians dying.

Not saying either was justified or not, but to compare the two? That's apples and oranges.

Look, what happened is it ended the war. There are laws in place now that weren't then. I/E proportional response, the law of armed conflict or Rule of War depending on what branch your in and the Geneva conventions that would have propably prevent us from doing it. If you ever read about the guys who pushed the button on the bomb on the "Enola Gay", they didn't live very well for the rest of there lives. I don't see how a civilian life is more valuable then a military life. However, I do understand the military is tasked to protect the citizens of the US though.

Also your probably low on your numbers with the polluted water supply and the amount of cancer that was incurred in that area afterwords.

Make fun of me for this if you want. But growing up as I kid I was a big LOD fan.
