55 players for 2 years is well over 500 dollars. Yes, you don’t have to have 55 players, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s expensive as hell.

Really nothing. Policing multiple accounts is incredibly easy for the most part. It's just ran poorly (or not at all) at this point, so why spend money? The admins have made it clear they have abandoned the game so any buying of flex points is a risk you are taking that you will even be able to spend it all. This game could be shut down any day which is sad, if i were any of you I wouldn't be buying flex either. Multi accounts ftw. I'm a changed man now.

It's pretty simple. Having multi's is against the game's stated rules. This, by definition, makes having multis cheating. 15 diatribes about why certain people don't FEEL it's cheating is Just say "Yeah, I know it's cheating, but I'm cool with doing it because [insert preferred reason here]."

For the record, I honestly don't actually care. I've contributed ~$20/year over the past 17 years to the game to have a few dots on my 1 account, as that's been my cost/benefit level of enjoyment. Logging in and out of 10 accounts pretending to be different people and paying attention to what account I'm posting from sounds exhausting and embarrassing to me. It's just the idiocrasy of it all that makes me shake my head, reading through post after post of different peoples' personal justifications. Pretending to be saints and "saving the game" by cheating is just par for the course for the world we currently live in, where many can't make it past the most basic pass/fail check. The fact it's made it's way to a bunch of 40+ year old's on an abandoned internet game just makes it that much more sad. Maybe we need to add "cheating" to the list of words that "need" to be redefined because people feel the word's definition is just not nice anymore. Anyways, carry on, I'll continue lurking in the shadows until I eventually exit stage left like the thousands of others before me when the enjoyment doesn't become worth the effort. Maybe this game will end like The Highlander...there can be only one.

Oh, I don't know...perhaps something crazy...you know...REALLY crazy. Like a webmaster stepping up and taking BACK control of the site he created. Its beyond silly to pretend that Bort couldn't somehow know who are multis here. He just no longer cares.

That's "ok" for some of you all. But its LAZY as hell. He could figure this out. He just no longer cares to do so. Why is that OK with you all?

Spend your money how you like. I'll be done after the current round of commitments. Its just stupid that we all keep trying to keep this place alive when Bort doesn't give a crap about it. This place will just continue to fall out of orbit, and the programming decisions will just continue to get progressively worse, because they will default to "What is the laziest thing I could do as the guy who owns the entire site?".

Enjoy it. I'm out once my dots hit retirement.

By the way, its also beyond stupid that the passing game is this completely screwed up. Why are we playing a "football game" that doesn't resemble modern *football*? I'm done. I'll honor my current obligations, but Bort is a lazy bastard for rolling this bullshit sim out and charging full price for it.

Fwiw guys, same comments could have been made 13 real life years ago, which is why most have left the game in that time.

Bort is equally afk in 2025 as he was in 2012. Each of us should take our exit whenever it feels right to us. But I think along the way we were part of a special and unique experience.
