Passing arc is still way better with low Pass Power though, which was the point of issue. The minimum angle boost is slight, has to be over the line... and needs a pocket awareness check. The fact LBs with zero vertical could reach up and snag ints was always a bug, and impacts exclusively QBs that invest in Pass Power.

Then OTR(one of the few good QB SAa) got nerfed. As did Rec Awareness. I don't know, QB tactics seem like a better option. Right now zone got a big buff

I don't know of any LB's with zero vertical...I know mine were all pushing at least 50 min when they tried to get picks. No offense, but you guys don't run Zone enough to think that any of this was a big buff, because it's not big, just a small nod.

The nerfs to passing make sense, but I don't see them being that all that adverse tbh. QB tactics is still something I would like to see added, they could be really creative with it if they wanted.

they removed the underneath requirement, just have to have help over the top now. Thats why it seems like a big help. that means a CB with a safety in deep gets to use both SA now.

So watching my scrimmage with Ghanima team, passing is fucked if you dont have really good pass power. My QB has 50 power, and thats with current QB sp cost, there just isnt enough to build a decent qb anymore. His accuracy is 79. We would throw one pass with zip and be good throw. Then we would throw another throw that was a shitty slow duck and it would get picked off. Only in the 3rd quarter we already threw 3 int in the game. Zone got better. People are going to want Star QB again or get fucked.

That's still a Sink play and you can't run Sink plays all game... Most of the time time to have a shot at not being abused in the passing game you have to have your CB drop into a deep zone to stop a WR or TE who going mid to long range on a route so you don't have any help over the top. The CB doesn't really get the EotP fire rate that he needs because of this and Zone CB's are not built to deflect passes like Man CB's (at least in my experience).

Either make it so the Safeties can use Zone Shark while being in zone with no help, or allow DB's to use EotP while in zone with no help... or if the over the middle buff is strong, allow both SA's to fire whether they are in underneath or not.

So they need to adjust the power setting... its not like they haven't overdone a buff or nerf before and corrected it quickly.

Has anyone else run scrims to test this? Also can you guys post plays for us to watch?

I watched your game and a couple others, it's really bad. Not sure how a QB is supposed to have high Tech, Acc, Power, Awareness, Consistency, and now Pocket Awareness just to make decent throws. Nevermind how brutal the rec awareness nerf looks so far

Guess you wont have to worry about Frazier throwing dimes . Gotta pivot a bit here on my plans with him.

It's one game in the snow vs a top tier zone defense... y'all run some more and post the results please. I'm all for fixing something if its broken, but let's not be hasty.

My issue is watching the game and watching some just atrocious throws. My QB is 80Tech/79Acc/50Power. A non star QB i dont know how to get much better than that. But I hope you are right and other plays are better.

Well passing in general looks pretty bad so far, and not just against zone. The only passing tweeks needed was higher angles for QBs that invest in pass power, and tactics like other positions, all this other stuff has been a nerf. No one asked for a rec awareness or OTR nerf

I'm watching the game right now... some throws the QB looks fine, then some he puts over are floaters... So far, I'm surmising here that he failed his arc awareness check on the bad ones because it doesn't look like a consistent pass power thing on every throw.

Finished the first scrim and now watching SS vs BSB...

It definitely looks like you see QB's fail some of the pass arc checks over the middle while in the pocket, but still make solid throws deep on the sides. So far I'm not seeing this be consistent. QB's shouldn't have super high completion rates vs LB's or whatever like we mentioned anyways... almost 70% for a non-star is pretty OP in my opinion.

It would help the analysis if dredgar would stop rushing so much and getting TDs, lol.
