sorry buck

2-2 vs top 10 vet teams tho, not too shabby

edit: we somehow beat the #7 team and went from 14 to 15 on the global ladder?

GG Mystery Men - was closer than usual - but we could not hit that FG or stop you guys when we needed to. Good luck in the big game.

GG Deadites. Glad we didn't go 0 for 3 against you guys.

On another note, I'm kinda annoyed with the most important games of the year being majorly impacted by weather. Every season around playoff time it's heavy snow and teams that are built on speed are severely neutered. Seriously when is the last season when the playoff games weren't in snow? It feels like it's snow every season. We need some regions or domes to make home field advantage actually mean something.

This is more in reference to the Bronx game but AA has been burned by snow a lot too.

It's balanced from early in the year where speed kills it, IMO. I'm perfectly ok with it, despite it affecting my own 90+ spd dots...it just adds more strategy to gameplan for.

Except it's not balanced. Those early games don't carry the same weight as playoff games.

Definitely bro, GG. I hear you on weather and do wish that teams had options to have dome or not. Game was going well on both sides but we couldn't produce on some of the turnovers and we had some crucial turnovers that turned into points for you guys as well. Good luck in the championship!

i think everyone would just run a dome stadium unless you are an all run team on power.

All a dome does is let you not have to use weather at all and if most of you had the option you would use one, especially if most of your team is built to be speed heavy. It adds some depth to the strategy late season. Weather is part of the game, it affects us all equally and personally I like it.

They could just flip the weather each season which would make sense. End of season cold/snow in one season leads ti early season cold/snow the next season which would lead to warm playoffs late season and the followinf next season. Would probably calm the whiners.

Example:
S1 starts hot and ends cold.
S2 starts cold and end hot.
S3 starts hot and ends cold.
And so on...

But having the option would allow some teams to build differently and then home field would really matter

Still not balanced though. Having 4-5 straight games in snow makes no sense(not realistic), and gives certain play styles an advantage, which is the problem. The whole weather system has been tweaked once, and that was an increase in its effects. If the devs don't want homefield then they should tell us at least, and maybe just make playoff games neutral. Because right now...weather balance is really bad.

Everybody talks about weather balance all the time and while I see "some" suspected difference, it does not feel like a huge difference to me and BSB has had plenty of sprint on builds each run... I think people think that weather has more of an effect than it actually does (not saying it does not have an effect). It also looks way cooler!

biggest thing i dont like about snow is it leads to a high fumble chance game which generally has a cascading effect once you start. for mostly run teams that is a brutal element.
