I have always thought of the "heel" as being the bad guy and getting other riled up through said debates and whatever else. Galithor was certainly opinionated and willing to discuss his opinions but I always looked at his input in a positive light and not like some others that came off more as the villains when arguing opinions or whatever. I am sure many of us learned a lot from Galithors experimentation with builds and strategy. Maybe one of the issues that we have and why these types of discussions are pretty rare is simply because our vet player base seems to have builds nailed down for the most part and there is far less experimentation. I used to say that we needed more results from other skills with player builds which would have allowed for more diverse builds. Unfortunately, the skills that appear to do little continue to do little. We are unable to truly diversify player builds IMO and we are all falling in to a cookie cutter at this point. Sure you can put some small twists on them and in some cases depending on a players role it may vary a little bit but I do not feel like it is enough.

Might just as well keep pouring those drinks. At least for another week. Hope you had a good time man. LLUA gave you guys a whooping while you were living it up. It's a shame that match had to come while you were away though.

Yeah I just think straight to wrestling. The guy we want to root against (whether he's someone you love to hate like TDiddy or just a slapdick like USC).

We might have beat you, but it sounds like you're the real winner here.

GG Bloody. Playing you guys, I'm really glad I went so run heavy in building the defense.

Also this game has finally caught up to me. I'm tired of gameplanning, but I would hate myself for doing defaults. I've got that Tdiddy blood of wanting to handle it all. Which means I can see why he quit too, haha.

No I'm not quitting. Going to ride out LLUA and see how many records/hall of fame achievements we can get. Then reconsider. Just needed to vent about too many freakin' gameplans.

You could reset to rookie, set up a good coaching staff and then take over just for the odd game, the big ones? I'm the same as you mind, I get exactly where you're coming from

Burnout is very real and I think those of us that have been around setting up Gameplans long enough are all dealing with it in some way. While coaching and setting up Gameplans is probably the most exciting and easily the most strategic element of the game it takes its toll for sure. I think many Vet agents/coaches are mostly on auto pilot or some degree of auto pilot anyway. With BSB I initially tried to do something a little different with a coaching sign up where agents on the team could plug in their Gameplans on offense or defense if they ever got the itch or wanted to mess around with the builds that we have. Obviously I tried to keep quality match ups for quality coaches. The idea was to keep opposing team scouting confused by the various tactics and plays used (everybody has their own variations to play calls) along with lowering the burn out effect. Only had a few games where others plugged things in though unfortunately. The vision was a good one I believe but it just did not come to fruition. Would have been a solid learning experience for lesser established agent coaches on the team and provide the occasional scratch to the itch for vets that wanted to plug something in here and there and not worry about doing it for a whole season.

The reason I never get burned out is because:

1. I only coach/gameplan for 1 team
2. I try playing with unorthodox and unproven schemes, like zone defense and goalline/power QB
3. I'm the best owner in GLB History

I just saw the score and haven't watched the game. Both our Defenses should be fucking ashamed though with this box score: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/378898

Two thousand yards of Offense. 2K. Not a misprint. Not a CPU game.

GG.

GG Freakville! Man my D was rolling well through all of the first quarter and a decent amount in 2nd, then that Flags and Posts play was rocking for you guys! Death Charger was a bit too fast, I think I needed a bit more pressure on you guys in that set.
