I play on Wall Street. For real money.
I work on Wall Street. My office address is literally a number, followed by "Wall St," followed by New York, NY. It's cute that you do a little day trading though. Not sure where you find the time if you are the CEO of a hot tech start up in the Valley though.

My job was to get that type of information. Everyone's is.
If you worked on Wall Street instead of played on Wall Street, you would understand the insider trading laws and why they exist. For most of my career, I haven't been able to buy any equities other than mutual funds because, being a person and as you already sort of got right, my job, while not to "get" that type of information, involved the possession and use of that type of information for the benefit of the people that shared it with me, which legally excluded me from turning around and benefitting from it on the side to the detriment of others. To play it safe, which is the reasonable thing to do and what my better colleagues would do, I didn't touch a single company stock explicitly so I could never be accused of insider trading and put my reputation, career, wealth and freedom at risk.

You really need to stop acting like this is the exception in everyone's normal everyday life.
You really need to stop acting like the game of fantasy sports is not set up for the massively overwhelming majority of players that have no influence on sports team management or athlete performance, and so controls for the tiny minority that don't fit that profile aren't built in to the standard model. And you really need to stop acting like the problem of inside information or influence is not already an acknowledged problem in fantasy sports (see various lawsuits pending against Draft Kings and Fan Duel) or when money is involved in sports (see the Black Sox and Pete Rose).

Why did that Shopping Center get built down the street from you?
Or that new highway?
Or the Restaurant you enjoy going to?
Ever use Facebook?
Snapchat?
Uber?
I don't even know what the hell you are even trying to say here. Are you claiming that all businesses operate on the back of criminal activity? Are you a Bernie supporter or something?

Really, how do you think things happen in this world?
Show me your everyday life and I'll probably be able to show you 100 different ways people used influence/knowledge/etc. to get an advantage that effects your day. The fact that you don't realize it is a you problem.
The only thing I don't realise is what a "you problem" is.
