GG MEM. Plenty of broken tackles, but not too many big gainers. Fortunately our offense made plays in the 4th quarter and bailed us out.

Honestly cit needs to factor in a lot harder into rolls. As a dc its infuriating when wrs are catchig everything in traffic with 40-50 cit. This drive embodies that pretty well http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/211975/2427886

6 plays, 6 1st down conversions (last being a TD). Pretty nuts.
But looking at some of these, it appears out of whack, but the first four passes did not have a defender make an attempt to deflect it. That greatly decreases the necessary CiT.

cit should be something thats needed whenever you have a defender attached to you and not just something needed when the defender puts his hand up. in all honesty its just frustrating they focus nerfing the run so much but passing is still allowed to roam in a state where even good defensive gameplan cant guarantee you anything more than a coin flip chance of winning

also since I'm on this tangent int would be a great place to start http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/74383 as you can see 14 ints at 55 intercepting on 225 targets. next we have hayes http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/94748 80 interception rating only 8 ints on 300 targets build wise hayes has significantly better man aware, coverage tech, and even deflecting. hayes is a tick slower but quicker as well. with my guy having better caps its only natural hed have better stats or atleast more ints? however thats not the case. this is one of my bigger grips with passing only surpassed by catches with defenders draped over them on speedsters.

I'd say all in all it was a good defensive gameplan. Others are just risky to run against a premier passing attack.
Btw, I thought they fixed Double Lurk? What the hell is the SS doing here? There's an unmarked player, why not cover him instead of running all the way across the field.

Here the SS doubles WR2.
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/211975/2426967
Oh I see, when the BTE stays in he marks WR2, when the BTE goes out on a route, the SS is somehow supposed to mark him.
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/211975/2427601
Why doesn't the SS stay on the TE, like he's lined up for, and the CB3 move over on top of the BTE? There's no way the SS can ever get to the BTE in time. If the QB held onto the ball a few ticks longer here, that's a possible catch and TD to the BTE.

Their CB has significantly better vertical, and also somewhat stronger conditioning and toughness.
14 INTs could be an anomaly, or maybe vertical and better energy management matter.

lol that hasn't stopped them and others from beating multiple higher level teams every step up the ladder. In fact since we're almost at the end of the season (and Vet teams haven't been improving), this should be the smallest the SP difference has ever been.

idk that play you linked is a one on one s* TE vs s* SS which should be a coin flip IMO. plus, you held eli to 50% completion ratio which is one of his lowest of the season. he is just built well to perform under pressure and throw a catchable pass in traffic, and all of our receivers are built to catch the ball well in coverage.
IMO, holding us to 28 is a victory for the D, the def played well and the gameplan was solid. the problem was your offense not putting up more than that. we are built to contain the run, but a bit better playcalling diversity on offense and you could have very well found some defensive mis-matches and pulled that one out

I'm assuming your S* TE has more than 40-50 CiT too. My non-S* receiving TE has more than that.

MEM: 12 possessions with 8 punts, yet averaged 5.4 yards per rush overall.
That's surprising.
