Just saw that and dont want that to be NOT mentioned!

Hawaii Bulls (#2 seasoned) took out a GREAT JMan with the Cooks: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/196835

Now that win is impressive!

I do think we can dispute half of this comment now as we near the end of the season. The current Seasoned tier has put together a respectable 52-48-2 record against the tier above to not only dispute current Journeyman's superiority, but also sets the bar for current Sophomore to beat next season to support their claim to superiority. I have no doubt that current Sophomore is a very talented tier capable of doing so, but in my opinion other then the very few top 5 to 8 teams current Journeyman stinks and current Seasoned is a much deeper tier then current Journeyman even after the defections we have suffered from teams resetting/folding.

lol top 5 to 8 is a pretty weird # to toss out there. but idk i dont see many solid seasoned or soph teams on par with some of the top jman teams

bulls beating cooks was a pretty good one tho, cooks are def top 5 jman

At least this tier gets to play against each other, Journeyman tier just plays a bunch of gutted teams a level up.

I scanned through the schedules and it looks like the current JMan top5 has played a grand total of 3 games against Seasoned teams. They spent all season playing up level(s), just like the best Seasoned teams. So that 52-48 statistic doesn't really mean anything.

#3 Jman Cobras - 45
#2 Seas BS&B - 10
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/190967

#4 Jman Cooks - 32
#1 Seas Bulls - 42
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/196835

#5 Jman Falcons - 90
#3 Seas Wolverines - 3
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/197528

That's the actual evidence of top5 against top5, unless I missed any. Doesn't exactly look to me like Seasoned has disputed anyone's superiority.

I didnt see Rob. mention anything about top5. Looks like he is making claims about the tier as a whole, which is what I am still disputing that after those top 5 teams seasoned is deeper from 6 down then jman making it more interesting. So 3 games amongst top 5 teams makes little argument against my point, why dont you go post those in JMan thread... oh there isnt a JMan thread ... nevermind.

You sound like Bob Stoops saying Big 12 > SEC because the bottom of the conference is better.

But you win. Jman has 19 teams and Seasoned has 36. They're obviously better.

Some more numbers for you. The #6 through #10 JMan teams are collectively 18-2 against Seasoned teams, with the two losses from BS&B beating #9 and #10.

The point being that 52-48 stat is clearly chocked full of good Seasoned beating bad JMan teams.

I already made it clear that Hawaii and BSB are great teams. They can't make up for the rest of the tier though.

Here's the #3 team: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/team/543

Lost by 87 to Central
Lost by 38 AND 35 to Watchers of the Wall

Clearly a huge step down from the top two teams in that tier.

however it is better then the 37-45-2 record your tier put up against JMan teams in season 11, therefore Ill just settle for current seasoned is ahead of where current JMan was last season and leave it at that.

You are spending way too much time counting crappy teams playing against crappy teams. My point from the beginning was lack of competition for teams like BSB and Hawaii. I had someone tell me back when BSB was going for a perfect season that if we completed the perfect season it would have to include an asterisk because of how lousy the tier was. Unfortunately, I had to agree. Your tier's #24 team beating up on a CPU journeyman team doesn't mean shit. Your compiled record means nothing. Nobody cares about the bottom dwellers. It's all about the strength at the top. If there are any "over inflated" records they are from the top two teams in this tier getting to face this tier.
