if you can't tackle a measley little 95 power running RB, you're going to be fucked when Destroyer of Worlds hits his peak

Didn't even know what your team was built like. That should be fun to watch/follow as the offense develops. For your sake I hope they add some WFB or BFB (however it's listed) outside runs to that formation.
Surprised your team isn't banging on the table campaigning for more Diamond formation love by Corndog/Bort.

I actually made a new LB and FS this season to deal with the eventual powerback onslaught. I realized they wouldn't do a thing to stop them. Sooner or later we're all going to sell out so much on stopping power backs, that a pure elusive back is just going to wreck everything.
How are you making them?
I CREATED 3 DTs, 2 DEs, 2 LBs, 2 CBs, 1 SS and 1 FS to stop power backs. After being in a league with Wrath and Providence, I swore never to lose to another power rushing team again.

It was in reaction to FSM getting steamrolled by Wrath in S10 playoffs. I normally handle powerbacks decent enough. Not great, but not piss poor either. Wrath just embarrassed some of my more run focused players. HAHA had 2 guys with similar-ish builds to what got ran all over by Wrath, so I basically went in the opposite direction and am now hoping for the best.

Having spent seasons with QCBC, and then Stunners, and then INHS/WCW. I think I have enough to deal with everyone now. Though I have one piece of the puzzle missing this season due to legend bs, but I think I will be ok.

Without divulging too much...hopefully the FB and HB eventually have enough baseline blocking skills to effectively lead block for each other and the QB. By having a FB and HB I know who is getting the ball when I put a play in the book, instead of before when my elusive back got short yardage carries and my power back got swapped in on counters. S* FB is significantly more salary friendly, and power running is cheaper than for a RB. Even if he doesn't pan out offensively he still makes a great return man and short-yardage specialist.

#1 HAHA vs. #11 Omaha BEEF
This has the potential to be a good game. Curious to see how HAHA does against BEEF while I'm waiting to see how the BEEF defense is able to handle the 4 WR offense of HAHA. I think HAHA's offense will be too much in this one. HAHA wins 28-14
#2 I've STILL Never Had Sex vs. #21 The Salty Runback
Potential to be a really good game as well. Salty as the criminally low 21st best team in sophomore against the Virgins. This game should be much closer than the rankings would have you think. Salty has a very stout defense and should give the Virgin offense some trouble assuming they put together a solid gameplan. In the end though I'll take the virgins 21-17.
#3 Ashland Dockers vs. #16 Back Door Sluts 9
This shouldn't be much of a game here. I don't see Sluts having much of a chance against Ashland as they're currently constructed. Would be nice to prove me wrong but I'll take Ashland 30-7.
#3 Fire Breathing Sharks vs. #11 South End Vipers
On paper this could be a good game. Both offenses are potent and have the ability to score in bunches. I like South End in that they're in better shape chem. wise than the Sharks but I think the Shark's talent will win out in the end. Sharks 24-14.
#3 Arizona State Sun Devils vs. #13 ENMU Greyhounds
ASU has a tough game on paper just based on rankings but I don't see it being that close. ENMU hasn't beaten anybody worthwhile yet this season and ASU was the better team at the end of last season. I don't see this being too competitive but we'll see what happens. ASU wins 28-10.
#6 San Diego Sperm Whales vs. #9 EEA 2.0
Should be another good game. Sperm Whales take on a talented EEA squad that made it to their league championship last season. Curious to see how the Whales defend against EEA's run offense. In the end I think they figure things out and get the close win. Whales 17-13.
#7 No Name vs. #21 NW Storms
Definitely looking forward to this game. No Name is a tough out for anybody and NW has really turned my predictions to shit so far this season with their upsets. I think this one will be close as well. Let's go with No Name squeaking it out 24-21.
#7 Mannheim Steamroller vs. #27 New World Order
Mannheim is looking good so far this season and New World Order has been hit or miss. Until they have a solid win under their belt I can't pick New World Order. Mannheim wins 23-7.
#19 Strange Music vs. #21 Lafayette Mudbugs
Strange music plays an inactive team so this should be an easy win for them. Strange Music 28-3.
