yes... LOL At least I'm honest. More than likely another Nerf to Running teams that do a lot of the same plays while passing teams can do the same 5 plays with nothing changing. But I will wait to see... It would be nice to see what it is before off season negotiations.

Ok, cool.

So why won't you be able to that anymore?

Not sure until you reveal the change. But you make it sound like balance is going to be key going forward.

I wouldn't choose run plays based on opponents defense. That wouldn't be very smart.

Until your back can break tackles it is.

Yeah, you try doing a pass playbook with 20 plays in the Medium section. Let me know how that goes for you. There are a lot of bad pass plays too that either have bad routes or quickly get your QB sacked vs common blitzes

I could do 15 pass plays in the medium section and 5 in the short section and be pretty comfortable at all levels of play. 15 in the medium might be a bit edgy for the first 10 games of rookie but after that you would be just fine.

Helps to have 2 TE's and maybe 2 FB's though. Also once you hit pro you got all the WR screens.

a great example.... If I'm playing a team with 5 CB's and all my WR's are blocking.... Why wouldn't I run sweeps in the four all game to tire them out. It isn't spam, It is gameplanning.

It's called cheese. It's a pile of horseshit and the cheesy crap that is quickly killing this game.

So it's my fault the team rostered 5 CB's? And I will go back to my other example. Championship game.... 5 plays ran by the Passing offense... The whole game.

Cheese or not.. Just make it consistent across the board both passing and running teams.

For me it is a lot more fun having two balanced type teams play. There is at least strategy involved rather than which sweep you will run on 3rd and 15.

There should be a button to press for run cheese or pass cheese. Press the run cheese button and maybe your LBs and safeties will not be blocked indefinitely by all blocking WRs, run awareness increases, etc. At the same time make a dramatic penalty to your defense when god forbid a pass play is actually called. Pressing the run cheese makes all of your defensive attributes substantially increase on run plays and decrease on a pass play. Make all cheese offenses too risky to run. You can then run all pass or all run offense and not be penalized because it is too risky to do every single game. This will force teams to run offenses that somewhat resemble American football.

Ya I don't believe you are going to see much strategy in terms of need to pass and run. Will just be more run teams using a few plays that would probably not make the book and just hope those plays don't kill a drive. Pass teams will use the standard 10 plays everyone uses, probably make sure you got 2 TE's so you can use about 15 standard plays and inside run/screen when the other teams DC isn't using the best plays to stop them.

I don't think RPP is the answer. By the time RPP sets in your CBs and defense will already be toast from all the cheese.

Actually, maybe it isn't even RPP at all. For some reason I thought Corndog had said that at the beginning. Maybe its a version of my pre game boosts suggestion.

edit: Though he keeps referring to spam as single plays and not run/pass ratio. So I doubt it.

I say lets wait before we complain, for all we know this only affects teams that run roll outs all game/spam screens. And if thats the case all this bitching is stupid
