Playing Queen City and then DD (in the loser bracket of all places, thanks for that) was the result of a flawed seeding process.

Average ladder rank for the league put Gorilla and Wolf in contention in the first round. Clearly "actual ladder rank" or "average rank of playoff teams" would have been a more accurate way to seed this thing. The bottom half of wolf might be shit, but the top half is all that matters.

The seeding was based on league because this is a tournament of league champions (with some wildcards thrown in). I felt that seeding by league was the best way to reward league champions. If there was a flaw it was in that I messed up and didn't get the final league rankings after the very last ladder game. That could have thrown things off.
