PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
OFFENSE
QB #3 Joey Harrington, Washington Wildcats. Joey didn't do well in the NFL but here in casual pro he played well on the week throwing for over 300 yards and three TD's in the Wildcats 27-26 win over Manchester United. Joe completed 33 of 44 pass attempts (75%) for 326 yards and three TD's. More important, in a tight game Joey didn't have a turnover.
Joey for six.

DEFENSE
LB Clayton Rainey, Legacy's Casual Pride. In likely one of the seasons lowest scoring game of the season Rainey stepped up to help the Legacy D get the win over the London Fletchers 10-6. Rainey led the game with eight tackles, Clayton also had a two passes defended and a tackle for loss.

RB s32 FOKKER KR, Charlestown Chiefs. With the Chiefs O struggling returner FOKKER KR stepped up his game with two big return TD's in helping the Chiefs beat the Potent Potables 30-14. FOKKER returned three kicks for 78 yards (26.0 ypr) and four punts for 203.5 yards (50.9 ypr) with two punt return TD's.

OOPS - THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMMM
1. The five that picked Fareham in Surivor...thanks for playing.
2. Man U getting 10.9 and 11.0 ypc from the QB's and still losing.
3. LOL GLB at Manchester OT Pablo Branch (RT) having 58 cakes last year and already having 50 this season.
BRAVO - GOLF CLAP
1. To GLB scheduling as we (BM) get FSS, HOOD, DIABLO, Dirty Birds, and Dragons at home (five of the seven playoff teams from last season); and GLB scheduling as we (DF) get Peaks, Spiders, Potables, Musketeers, Chiefs, and Tets at home (six of the seven playoff teams from last season) - hey, no complaints from me.
2. Washington and Legacy getting the first W's in casual pro.
3. Detroit getting the 18th win in a row.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WEEK 3 PICKS
EAST
Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers vs. Legacy's Casual Pride - Casual Pride got last one in a low scoring game and I expect a similar type of game here against the Moneky Spankers. Look for Legacy's to grab that second win in a row here...9-6.
DotBall Warriors vs. Bier Markt - The Warriors have struggled a little in the first two games and I'm going to say Markt isn't a team to get well against. Dotbal keep coughing as BM will get the W here...48-10.
London Fletchers vs. Austin Longhorns - Hell, with the Fletchers offensive performance this past game no way I should take them over the Longhorns who are coming in off a big win. London will have to keep this low scoring and come on late to bump Austin off - hey, I hate the hippies down in Austin as much as any Texan so the Fletchers have some motivation...13-10.
Fareham Hell Hounds vs. Alaskan "War" Raven - Hell Hounds smoke signal could read "S.O.S." if they drop this one. Raven looking a bit better than what I've seen in the last two playoff seasons. With that, a hot team will make the Hell Hounds spark that fire and start signaling...27-10.
The Dirty Birds vs. Grave Diggers Union - Birds bounced back from the tough opening week one loss while the Union is going to have to get off the canvas. The Birds will control this game on both sides the ball and extend that win streak to two before running into Detroit...34-3.
Her Majesty's Dragons vs. Motor City Mustangs - Dragons have not got too much of my attention but I assue you guys I have not forgot about you. Dragons will soar to some new heights as they's lasso the Mustangs in 1.2 seconds...44-6.
Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. Florida State Seminoles - HOOD put up six points last week but to bad they gave up sixty six. I thought the HOOD would be in better shape and maybe Detroit is just that good. I have to think its a combination but I do see FSS getting the win here with a stronger offensive performance...34-23.
DIABLO DOTS vs. [Detroit Muscle - Should be one of the better games of the week and we'll see if the DOTS are for real or not as they get to face the champ and I recall last season someone posting they watched the loss three times and screwed up and should have won. I think at times people want to see blue when the color is red. Speaking of red, that's
the color of DIABLO's bottom after this one...31-17.
---------------------
---------------------
WEST
San Dimas Saints vs. Dot Fathers - I'm in the camp where the Fathers are playing a little better than BM right now but the Saints are coming in off a strong performance against Twin Peaks. I do think the Fathers diverse O will help them out and the D will slow the Saints down...31-13.
Full Perky Tets vs. Prussian Revolution - Tets are cruising so far on the season and the Revolution are coming off a loss where the O struggled. It will struggle again against a Tet D giving up only 8.5 ppg...33-14.
Macon Mo Bacon vs. Washington Wildcats - Both the new teams come in with one win so let's see who wants it more. I give the slight edge to Mo Bacon but I suspect this will be a tooth and nail battle throughout...24-23.
Baltimore Crimewave vs. Potent Potables - My weekly coin toss as these two are about as even as one would like. Both defensive minded so it's likely this will some how turn into an offesnive showcase...20-17.
Twin Peaks vs. Green Bay Maulers - Peaks got by the Saints and GB got throttled by Moscow. I expect the Peaks D to shutdown the GBM O while the O will get just enough points to pull away in the second half for a comfy win...34-20.
Manchester United vs. Sofia Spiders - Both teams coming off loses but with the United recent history they'll struggle to right the ship where I expect the Spiders to bounce back. Sofia has not stopped the rushing QB's but I suspect they'll make the effort to do so this go around...38-35.
French Toast Mafia vs. Moscow Musketeers - I can see this one breaking down to who has the greatest will to run the ball. Both will be successful but the Musketeers D will be a little better and the O will get some bigger plays forcing the Mafia to throw where they'll struggle...38-24.
Charlestown Chiefs vs. High Seas Marauders - The Chiefs O hasn't been a thing of beauty this season but they found away to win this past week with special teams and D. I always say I like a team who can beat you three different ways on Sunday so I guess I'll wait for the Chief O to sing them in as the next champs. They will beat the Marauder with the ground game...34-7.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BADGER'S TOP FIVE
1. Detroit Muscle - Cruised for the second W of the season as they easily beat HOOD 66-6.
2. Bier Markt - It looked like it may be a laugher but FSS came storming bak and BM escaped with a six point win.
3. DIABLO DOTS - DOTS cruised to a 45 point win over the Grave Diggers.
4. Her Majesty's Dragons - Dragons coasted to a 49 point win over the Warriors.
5. Moscow Musketeers - Tossed the Maulers salad (payback mo fo) and won going away.
Others nipping at the proverbial heals of the top five
*Full Perky Tets - Got by the Spiders by 18.
*Twin Peaks - Eeked out a win over the Saints (by seven).
*Charlestown Chiefs - The best one loss team in the league.

CB's - overpowered?!!!!!!!!!
The CB pick issue was brought up with far too many passes being picked. Yeah, it sucks when you drop a game and have three to five picks but looking over the league average it doesn't seem too high.
In week 1 (16 games):
Passes Thrown: 1,391
Passes Completed: 773
Completion Percentage: 55.6%
Passing Yards: 8,424.5
Bad Throws: 157
Drops: 14
Interceptions: 47
Hurries: 273
Sacks: 74
Passes Deflected: 168 (there were more but the top 100 did not zero out so they're were likely 20-30 more)
Knocked Loose: 45
From an interception perspective that's only one interception per every 29.6 passing attempts. That seems about right or in the ball park considering
For comparison sake we can look at the NFL QB's (these are the most picks on the season):
1. Eli Manning - pick every 20.4 throws (27 picks)
2. Carson Palmer - pick every 26 throws (22 picks)
3. Joe Flacco - pick every 27.9 throws (22 picks)
4. Geno Smith - pick every 21.1 throws (21 picks)
5. Andy Dalton - pick every 29.3 throws (20 picks)
Josh McCown, Bears (one pick in 224 attempts).
