No kidding. Some of the shit I've seen them approve at all levels in this game over the years has made it obvious none of them have a clue as to what actually goes on with this game.

Wait who is and isn't a good ole boy? Can someone run a list? Because anyone not in WL claims that everyone in WL is a good ole boy. But now snakes is claiming not to be a good ole boy? So...I dunno...lots of confusion here.

I didn't blame a GOB system. I blamed the admins for being clueless. The league restructure we had back in S9 was the first clue that they were in over their heads.

It really comes down to having the right people in the right positions. There's some great people in support, but they need to be explicitly told that they're not to be involved in making decisions regarding league business and a separate party who's in tune with the game itself assigned that duty. Similarly, there are folks who have great value as testers that have no business being assigned to perform mod duties. Lastly, there are some mods who could best help the game by returning to the position of customer rather than serving in any official capacity. The right people need to be in the right chairs before GLB2 fully launches, and I'm not sure Bort and DD are even aware that they have some people who aren't providing their greatest value in their current positions.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious.

Most of the moderating complaints start with the ambiguous rules tbh. At this point GLB is in a free for all mode with the tension over the new game. The updated site will have better rules in place and better options for people to explore rather than just getting constantly banned, thread locked, or have to go through support. At that point it should be a little more lax and a lot easier to decipher between what is and isn't allowed and where.
