clearly they never made the effort to deserve a WL spot when they didnt earn it by the rule either then

4. Any extra spots should go to the best team who would otherwise be left out. Let's face it, USA East was a better conference than USA West or WEPL Alpha this season. I feel bad for langer in particular, as I really like those guys. But I don't believe that Ice & Fire is a better team or had a better season than the Blaze. I also feel that having the Blaze in the WL would make it stronger than having the Hedgehogs, Ice & Fire, or even Alpine. The best thing for this league and the game in general would be for the Blaze to get a spot. *shrug* That's just my dispassionate judgment.

So your contention is that the blaze should promote based on what? predicted value of a high effective level?

I'm not saying any of the CCG losers should promote, but if one does it certainly should not be the blaze.

lolchem all you want, but in regular season and playoffs the Hedgehogs had 1/19 games that they either (a) lost, or (b) won by 46 points or less. (the OT loss today to the growl)

The Blaze had 9/19 games where they failed to win by 47+. USAPro east if its better than the west, certainly is not THAT much better that the west. you can say lolgameplanning if you want but its not like I'm gameplanning for 100 point regular season wins.

garbage arguments are garbage. They did not earn the right to be called the best pro team losing a CCG. Predicting the results of the game without AI error is not a real reason to promote.

(also if my memory serves, an extra team hasn't been promoted since s16/17)

I understand, i would too. but remember when Buda gate happened, Bort said it wasnt a bannable offense and they didnt even look into it. I just think its shitty to not look into it then but now you are willing to look into it. Buda got to stay because they were the best demoting team, which is the precedence that me thinks they should stand by

Except that originally if there was an opening it went to who Bort thought was the best Pro team. Non-playoff WL teams getting to stay is a relatively recent change. Honestly, they should just figure out some criteria and stick by it instead of changing it from season to season.

So now your saying its not the builds that make you the best PRO team.

Infact its because you put no effort in all season and lost to teams that also put no effort in. Ummm yea something doesn't add up with what your saying.

I dont care who they demote/promote really. WL is going to be fairly shitty next season anyways. But the Blaze are right now the best built team in this game.

effort is a large part of what (a) makes a team good, and (b) earns a team WL promotion. Why should anyone give a shit how talented your dots are if they didn't produce? WL championships and WL promotions are not given to the best dots or highest effective level at the beginning of the season for good reason.

prob, but that brings up other points, there are teams that lose in the conference finals that are better than teams that win some leagues,

But these teams don't lose cause their DAI is hacked. Hell they scored 60 on AtKM with all this BS. I find it hard to believe they wouldn't have won that game outright.

Based on me realizing that they're the best Pro team left out, and the fact that they didn't lose their game legitimately. You and I both know that if they played ATKM a hundred times they would win all hundred if not for the DAI error. Again, the mistake might have been dpride's own fault for all we know, but it still wouldn't change the fact that it was not a result of the other team having better builds, a better gameplan, or good RNG rolls.

Of course they did, but I'm fine if you want to pretend someone else was. And an AI error is a fine tie-breaker.

but the fact remains they still never earned it.

if someone sabotaged the AI then personally i think a rematch is fine if you wanna go that route, but no way an auto promote over other team just cos they have a high loleffective level
