I would if I could, the rest of the LSUs won't even talk to him now.

What are you idiots talking about? Holy crap. No one is saying he can't play the game how he wants. However being able to pass for 1000 yards a game is a sure way to lock up an endorsement. These issues have nothing to do with each other. People are simply trying to deflect by slightly changing the focus of the discussion.

And you're right. Stern was teased for bitching about sacks. So tease back for this issue. In what world can a QB throw for 1000 yards over 90 attempts and still have an arm at the end of the day? I guess in the same world where LBers run 1 second 40s. Ah, but those LBers and DCs weren't able to play the game as they envisioned. That only applies when it benefits your team. Amirite?

It was almost as though Arcade wanted to surrender 120 points so that QB could get more work in.

Hey genius you don't lock an MVP award, it's a lottery of top 5 20% chance regardless, also that qbs stamina for the game was 60, and he ended at 38 energy, not quite a workhorse.

Didn't Mayan throw for like 800 vs what at the time was the defending wl champs? It's fucking hillarious how when you guys dominate through the air you're the smartest guys in the room, but when a team does it better than you it's time to riot...Originally posted by mcallero

You know teabag won the MVP last yr and stout got the MVP gear? You keep barking up this we are trying to rig arcade for a MVP trophy but anyone whose won wl knows the best piece of gear is the local endorsement, you're really a scum bag for continually passing along lies as facts to somehow justify your pathetic success as a team owner

Absolutely. I've been saying for a long time now that the stamina changes were idiotic. Instead of just applying a flat increase when distance traveled was already by far the biggest part of energy loss, they should have left that part alone but increase the energy drain from other actions like blocking, breaking blocks, tackling, resisting tackles, and throwing. It is a lot easier on the body to throw 90 times than to run 30 sprints, so I'm not saying that QB energy should go in the toilet, but it should definitely decrease faster than it currently does.

stern so so mad

yeah Mayan and Arcade are so similar. I'm surprised no one called us out on going 10 wide and with 0 rushing. Oh wait.

I mean, i think people are overreacting a tid bit to both sides. Alpine and Jam probably won't be scoring 120 points come game 7 against top teams. First game of the season is always a bit screwy and most teams don't really do much on defense and have tons of holes and on offense just throw whatever out there. After teams experiment a bit, see some more film of teams at least lolregseason trying and find out how to cover certain routes it'll be a bit better. Offense is still going to win most the time but i don't expect 120-100 to be the norm.

Still pretty lulzy though

Hey, at least my 'success' as an owner is just that. Your 'success' is from bending over for others to gain their 'acceptance.' 'You had absolutely nothing to do with 'your' team's rise to where they are now.

I have no problem with being a scumbag, but it certainly isn't for the reason you say. Find me a thread where I tried to pass lies as facts in regards to you... never happened. I have actually gone out of my way to stay away from such topics. And to call me out on something I could have done, but chose to stay away from is nothing short of bitch shit.

Our qb who played that game with 60 stamina(including the bonus from player appreciation day) ended at less than 40 energy, the special teams players who played on 15+ kickoffs? And 45 snaps who have 54-60 stamina ended at around 30-50 energy, honestly our entire team was completely taxed from a stamina pov, so how would you change it? Make staminas impact more important? Considering the top 10 wl teams collectively have the most stamina per man across the entiregame I don't think that's a good idea, hell a team who scrores too much isn't even able to compete ATM bc their kickoff team gets drained, and their defense is completely taxed

Jam is going to set a new WL scoring record because dpride was really smart in loading up on WRs and wearing out opposing secondaries. Teams aren't set up to deal with an offense like that and then all the conventional ones.

To be fair, Jam's offense was worse in the late 3rd and 4th quarter. I don't think they punted at all until that time frame where they did 5 times ultimately. Looks like we all needed 80stamina

Yea, the more you score the worse your energy will be. I saw some sweating dots towards the end. What does sweat mean again? In the red? so sub-30?
