One thing I'll agree with you 100% on, HB blocking on blitzes, hell, even FB blocking is beyond horribad. It's flat out worthless. Bort once said that he has it coded so that a FB needs 60 vision to just see 50% of the blitzes....That means that the vast majority of FBs in PLs & WL see less than 50% of the LBs blitzing, and the HBs it doesn't matter, since the blitzer will run over them like they aren't even there. Add in disguise blitz and that % has to be even lower.

Without a doubt there are problems with blocking.

That must be the google forum that I lost my log in for? On the test server itself, there's nothing....I guess I better find my log in or make a new one

there is both. i guess i havent check the google forum in a while. but i know on the test server there hasnt been anything worth while.

I didn't mean the Singleback ones. There are a few plays from other formations that I installed a new play on for the WWR game and we ended up with an exploitish looking blitz without my trying. I'm not complaining. I came up with a nice blitz unintentionally

In the first quarter, the blitzes I used worked one time. Two of your three drives were ended by sacks from one of our DEs, and the other was ended on 3rd and long when you sent out just TWO receivers (what are you thinking) and I dropped 8 into coverage anticipating the pass. What kind of AI is that? Seems like I had the better gameplan there.

Second quarter, I got two sacks total from my blitzing LB. Your rushing game blew (4 yards total) and our offense controlled the clock. Again, we had the better gameplan. We also had a great special teams play.

Third quarter started with a 3 and out for you (with no successful blitzes from me), and then our offense dominated the clock again. Your other possession ended with a great red zone stand from my defense.

Fourth quarter you got a big gain and that was about it. Not a single sack for my blitzing LB. Our offense controlled the clock once again.

Now, the blitzes I use may be called "exploits" by some, and to some degree I agree with them, but several points have to be made. For one, they have been around for a while, and a good offense adjusts accordingly for it. Second, learn about auto-adjust. Third, and it has been mentioned in here somewhere, if you don't use them, you lose. BUT in this case, they weren't very successful, so I'm not sure where you are coming from. Lastly, I don't think many people agree with you in calling the blitzes "cheating".

60 point win for you guys if I hadn't used them? Nah. And maybe our team will go 0-16 in WL, but yours might as well have too. If you don't play the sim according to GLB (not according to real football), you aren't going to make it at the elite level. That's just GLB.

I never rant like this, but your "cheating" and "60 points" claims set me off.

Really, the most messed up part of all of this, IMO, is that there aren't more O play options (something I've tried to push for 2 ssns now...at the very least, just give each pass play the ability to send both backs out) and that the game doesn't have some "if" "then" statements for both the O and D...As in, If the D sends x # of blitzes more than y times, then do this...or, If the O passes to the HB X # of times, then do that against this formation. As the game stands right now, no one on either side of the ball has any ability to adapt. Then again, it's also complicated enough to set GPs and that would add even more time, at least to initially setup.



I agree with this 100%.

It doesn't matter if I know without a shadow of a doubt the offense is passing, and i double and even triple team wr's. There is still a really high chance that pass is completed due to a ridiculous sim. I'd be doing my team a disservice by NOT using it when it would work.

Unlike the i-slam where you could put 5 dots in that one spot and they'd still gain 5 yards, there are very easy and tangible ways to stop the ROLB blitz.

Thanks, I thought a 40% completion rate and 38 yards of rushing was pretty good too.

You might notice Osaka did something very similar to the blitz I used in Cagliari's game

I've watched every game Nairobi has played this season knowing that it would come down to the two best teams in APL..I know what are you going to do on offense and defense, just comes down to whether or not our young dots can compete with your older dots.

Nah, I think rj is right. I think I have a pretty good idea what they are gonna do as well. I think with the TBH/Naiobi game, its just gonna be about which dots play better and get the breaks.
