Not whining, just pointing out something interesting:
Mali beat Angola 23-6 yesterday and is still ranked behind them.
Thanks for the rankings, as always! They're fun to look at!
And Angola beat Durban.
Here are a few things I noticed in the numbers since those 3 teams were mentioned. As for Angola being ahead of Mali. They have taken advantage of the point differential aspect of the system. Mali has remained in its spot on the strength of schedule but if with the same strangth of schedule score of Angola would remain behind them. Remember its not heads up play. Rankings arent what have you done lately its about what you do all year.
Durban is ahead of Angola based on the same things but they have a slight edge over Angola in Strength of schedule as well.
P.S. I am still looking at numbers overall and with the addition of the strength of schedule things have changed a lot in the formula to blance a new addition to the formula. I know its still not perfect but going to let this one run a few games to see how things play out. I know some will not agree with it however it does appear to start fleshing itself out and balancing itself.
