Well considering the UK is in the top 25 in reading, maths and science at high school level in the world and the US isnt in the top 25 for any of them doesnt that prove my point.

Maybe you should think about hitting the bottle and you might do a little research before coming out with utter shit.

That's why I went ahead and graduated from college and went to a private high school. I don't claim to know any numbers but there's a reason 95% of some of my engineering classes were people who came from India to study in the US. Don't try and make it like high school is a some pivotal educational foundation for people's future.

I guess they haven't taught you about apostrophe's yet..So much for you being part of the upper echelon. Go figure. I think we all knew that already though.

But we've pretty much annihilated everyone thus far. Our superior builds have gotten us this far, I think a playoff birth is the least we can ask for.

It is the big game for you guys. However let's not get too modest. The playoffs are there right now. Your goal is no longer playoffs it is a home game.

Of course your high school education is important. Its WAY more important than your university education in determining your eventual level of achievement. All university is is taking the basic skills you learn at school, refining them and applying them to real life situations.

As for the engineering situation thats merely because so few American kids want to be engineers and there is such a demand for them in India with no suitable education facilities. As a chemical engineer myself I tend to know this shit so dont try and play the bullshit card on my own subject. If America had a better high school system it wouldnt rely on immigration to supply so much of its workforce in science and technology.

Notice I said some, plenty of my classes were full of American students. People coming to your country to go to your schools is a good thing, maybe you don't realize it because it just doesn't happen that often for you.

Actually Scotland has a lot of people coming to our universities. My university alone has maybe 5,000 foreign students attracted by the fact that my university boasts the best forensic chemistry teaching lab in the world and one of the top business schools. But hey continue to play the ignorance card. Your parents should have told you not to pick fights with those who are better than you.

One University does not make country-wide excellence in education.

You can keep trying to play the "better than" card but fact of the matter is, we have better education than you, we have a better GLB football team than you, and we don't post stupid plots to act like normal people and then punk the forum while some of us still have access to your lame forum.
