Simple answer...because effective level means nothing

of my oldest 7 players, 3 have a lower effective level

just won his 3rd MVP in a row, has 8 personal golds and 1 silver during that time

3 levels below http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1048375
receiving TE that has lead his squad in receptions, yards and TDs in 4 of the last 5 seasons

1 level below http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1145224
has one personal PD trophy and 1 personal Int trophy has lead his team in ints twice and PD's twice.

I build extremely experimental players....and they work. Effective level just indicates

1) if you maxed your Autogains on your majors
2) if you have pumped up SA's to beyond 11

and that's really it. I build players to suceed in the sim, not to build up my LOLbars or my effective level.
