Yea you are right Zbuck....I think it stems from the fact of what I do for a living...I work with greats kids, who have made bad choices, and most times have a hard family life....So they have targets on their backs....They can do the same thing that a "jock" would do but get in 3 times the amount of trouble.....So I really always have been a person who can see though the BS, and have always rooted for the underdog....I think I am a good person, and would give the shirt off of my back for a person in need....I honestly just look at LOL, as a spoiled rotten kid....It could be envy, but I do not like anything Hokie has done from the start building his team...I mean really it is like when Switzer took over the Cowboys......I could run for a season LOL, and win 14 games...But I can guarentee you Hokie could not keep together an APL team for 6 seasons who never won a playoff game without quitting. (Please don't come with the ...Hokie would never go 6 seasons without winning a playoff game shit)...I am saying running a team for 6 seasons never winning a playoff game, 95% players signed to 3 year deals, and no help from other pro alliances.

Hokie keeps his teams together more for the fact that he treats everyone with a great amount of respect.....does winning help?...sure it does but he wouldnt be winning every season if he didnt treat his team well....I have a huge amount of respect for Hokie and that started as him being an owner on my pro team for many seasons....that got me to move some of my players over to his team.....at that point he could have been 2-14 and I would have trusted him to pull it around.

This has really gotten tiresome. Every season we get to read about how much Hokie pisses Vegas off about the USA Org thing. We get it Vegas, but I think you need to let it rest. I had no respect for how the Org did things either and hated how the Org just loaded up a team in a brand new league, but Hokie deserves a lot of credit for what LOL has done. Even if you don't agree with that, I don't think you need to keep attacking him.

Do you do a better "good" IRL than he? I don't know and don't care because it DOES NOT MATTER. Bottom line is that this is a GAME, that we are all trying to win. If you are satisfied and content losing, but being surrounded by "good guys", there is NOTHING wrong with that, but most of us want to win and you shouldn't attack people for that. Look at the Bugeaters, a large portion of the agents on our team are friends IRL and 25 players on our current roster were on our team in S3, so I fully understand what your saying about the hired gun mentality, but every agent on our team wants to win so I bust my ass so they can win. Most agents could take their players elsewhere and probably get more PT, but choose to stay with us as a result.

How about a school reference? Kid A had parents that paid for him to go to basket ball camps every year as a child and upon reaching high school is a very good ball player, but he busts his ass to get better every day and is in the gym every day to get better. That is Hokie. Kid B is on the team, but has parents that couldn't afford to send him to camps. This kid, although having skill, isn't as good as kid A and constantly bitches at Kid A and starts trouble for him. He always says that that Kid A is better just because his parent spoiled him, but the second kid is never in the gym, is never practicing on his own, and never busts his ass to get better. That is you Vegas.

In the end, I for one and tired of you attacking Hokie. I don't know Hokie from outside of APL, I have no connections to Hokie, and I have nothing to gain from this, but am tired of watching you attack him. Enough is enough already. If you want to bitch at him, take shots at him, or wig out on him over stuff that happened 5 seasons ago, send him PM and leave us out of if.

You are absolutely right. Vegas is a really good guy. He just likes to stir the pot here and there. No one else does that around here, do they? He is an individual. There is a lot to be said for that, especially around here where everyone wants to be kissy smuchy for a game!
