I don't know anything about Flavor Flav or the Hippos, but usually for a DB a lot of tackles is bad, right? It means you're giving up passes? Unless most of your tackles came against the run. That would be damn impressive!

Well if you're giving up a lot of passes you're gonna be thrown at more, so you might have 60 more chances at INTs than another CB.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize this had been discussed before. My bad, I hadn't been reading through this thread.

well for flavor's sake, I watch every game obviously and just about all his tackles are against the run. he just happens to play on the side in witch most of the pitches go.

I've been working on my roster for this, but it's going to take a little more time.

We (Wollongong) only gave up 158.5 yards passing per game. Also we only allowed a league low 2 touchdowns through the air all season.

No one was giving up a lot of catches. Flav not only should be on the All Pro team he should be in serious contention for Defensive player of the year and MVP.

alright, now thats just a flat out lie.

How do i know its a lie you may ask. since you said you watched every game and his plays, i did the same thing. didn't take that long, only looked for his tackles. Watched the play real quick and jotted down what he did. One of 3 options. Run Support, Field Support (tackle on someone else's man), and catches against him. 116 tackles breaks down into this.

Field support - 13
Run support - 38
Catches against - 65

Like Brad said, you give another CB that many chances he's gonna come down with more Ints. it looks to me like he's been passed on a bit.

watching the plays he also plays at least Med coverage, few yards deep. makes it easier to play the run, and also gets the benefit of having more balls thrown his way. So its not an indictment on his players skills, its just how he plays.

I've been reading and have only seen one Prime Timer mentioned, and that was our kick returner. It says a lot to me that we have a very solid group of guys and no one particular star. I actually prefer it that way. I would like to throw our defensive staff into the mix for OC of the year. I kinda screwed our QB Mallet from mention by playing his backup the last regular season game, or else he'd be right in the Alpha MVP conversation.

i would lead the league in receptions and yards, but i got sat the last game of reg season, and i only missed it by i think 32 yards. that last game i believe i was 5th on depth chart to get the other guys some XP, and i still had:

2 receptions - 2 TDs.

i still led in receptions and tacked on 10 tds. (Josh Hurst wr - Wash Roid Lovers)

WOW you just don't give up do you. We all know you are just mad because your corner is not getting mentioned because he has terrible stats. OK, we get it guy. Get a life.

no, thats not it, i just don't like when people flat out lie. I called you on it, and now your mad.

Terrible stats? 24 tackles, 24 PD's, a FF and 5 Ints. I'm not even gonna bother going through mine to see what was field support and run support because the tackles are so low it doesn't matter.

You guys got mad when i tried something new to avoid watching every play. well, i did it, i went through and looked at each play. Those numbers don't lie, they were what you were looking for. And now that you have them you don't like what you see. Not easy to turn a blind eye now, hu?

What more do you want? i never said he sucked, i said its not an indictment on his guys skill, its just how he plays, i play tight, i shut down my guy. He plays loose to get more balls thrown his way and boost his stats.
