GLB = real life... and if it doesn't, I'm missing something important.

Come on over to Dallas Mr. Peppers...

Rex Ryan runs a hybrid defense, but mostly a 3-4.

And Dallas wont have the salary cap to sign him and they have to get DWare signed long term, which will be the most expensive defense contract.

And finally Panthers will probably franchise Peppers and try to trade him for picks. But Peppers will not sign anything long term.

Problem is he maybe too big to play OLB. 6'7" 285, might be too big at OLB. we know he can pass rush and everything but many players have trouble converting from DE to OLB, so he may need time to adjust and for that kidn of money it may nt be worth it especially when u consider all the negatives. Lose of production, being out of position, etc.. and the list goes on and on. He makes a good DE nt OLB. + Rex would max him out and utilize his skills at OLB on various plays. Look at suggs, scott, adilius thomas back when he was there, list goes on and on.

Most likely team will be one w/ cap space and needs a DE. Also i would love to see him play for Houston Texans. Him and Mario Williams at both DE spots would be a scary site!

Peppers did drop into coverage several times in his career with the Panthers so I dont think he will have much trouble making the conversion to OLB. Plus he is a guy that can really mix it up. Best example would be Chris Long when he was at Virginia; Peppers would and could play 4-3 DE, 3-4 OLB, 3-4 DE, and a nickel/dime DT for pass rushing.

I wouldnt count on that. They said the same thing for Bledsoe AND he was a long time veteran and Pro Bowler, and a 1st round pick. Plus Brady has a huge cap against him and there is a chance that he may not come back the same after ACL surgery. Daunte Culpepper didnt even tho he had a complete knee tear.

Even if the knee is fine, QBs don't always recover the same in other ways. Look at Carson palmer, his knee is fine now but he hasn't been the same since he wrecked his knee. Something about having depend on other people to protect their legs messes with their head after they come back. They'll step into a throw and take a helmet to the chin but they seem to get skiddish when anybody gets around their legs forever after.

Ya exactly. Palmer and McNabb took a full year to come back from ACL surgery. A year after Palmer's surgery he did have a good season. But that is the reason why the Patriots arnt taking any risks. And the skiddish part, thats called Post Dramatic Stress.

I'm sorry but they normally don't always think about the injury. Peyton Manning, and Philip River both proved it w/ there injuries. Same w/ Elway. It's mentality and shows ur character. If ur afraid of taking a hit then u should get out of this profession sorry to say. What I'm more worried about is the weight on the leg which he is throwing on, which the repaired one i believe. Can it handle a full season. Also look at guys like Amare Stoudamire. They came back from successful knee surgeries that require them to make more cuts and everything on there leg. It all depends on the rehab and giving the player time to fully recover from the surgery. In all the instances u stated they were rushed back w/ in 9 months of surgery, which is the earliest and even then it normally takes a full year to fully recover. I say they should let Brady get about 14-16 months to rehab it or w/e more needed. They don't need to rush him next season as Cassell proved he could handle being the QB and wasn't bad either. Add a few more def. players to the Pat's def. and they r a playoff team in the waiting again, maybe even Superbowl contender again depending on how things shape in the off-season.

Gonna be an ugly game in Melbourne this week... they're clearly underrated at #10 with the third best offense and third best defense in the league... and more than twice as high a turnover differential as the next best team. Scary.

I dont really understand that either... The only thing that Rawaki has over you guys is SoS, and even then it is only .6 of a difference

I can see you being the bottom 7-2 team, but Rawaki doesn't belong ahead of you
