1/9 * ROUNDUP[(WEIGHT - 231)/8] (ROUND UP to the nearest integer after the division by 8 before multiplying by 1/9)

That puts me over 70 and I have a 66 bar.

Why shouldn't weight and height be a factor if they are there? i always thought it's a factor ...

Hmm...very interesting. I did this exact thing with QBs a few seasons back. I ran into the same problems you are. If you want my data (a good deal of it) I would be honored to share.

For those interested an approximate QB formula for passing is Passing = Throwing*(.4430) + Vision*(.2346)+Strength*(.1253)+Constant

I always thought the weight bonus was only applied in the sims. I did not know that they applied to the scouting bar. I thought that Bort already reveiled his ideas for the weight class bonuses. They seemed to be more based on a weight range.

You did well. Your constant is agility, believe it or not. The correct formula is

4/9 Throwing + 2/9 Vision + 1/9 Strength + 1/9 Agility.

Pretty sure confidence applies. The formula I get is:

4/9 throwing + 2/9 vision + 1/9 strength + 1/9 agility + 1/9 confidence

edit: which I'm quite certain is the real formula sine the numerators are all add up to 9. That seems to be the sort of math Bort tends to use.

Overall went from 54 to 57 when adding points to stamina.

Updated. There's no point to this, just trying to keep up with roughly how many speed points it takes to bump the bar.

What are your raw attributes including weight?

I have the same exact situation... equation puts me at 70.7, but my bar is at 66. Another question, how does this take into account the transition values? (ie. there is a yellow 39 and a green 39, and I believe also a green 60 and dark green 60).

The equation in the OP works perfectly however. Not sure why.

The bar changes at -1.5, so 37.5 or 58.5. However the color changes at a later, yet to be determined, time. Common theory is that it changes right at 39 or 60, but that doesn't explain why QBs have a dark green bar at 59 (they display by 1s for some reason).

I'm getting intriguing results with this formula:

3/9 blocking
2/9 strength
1/9 agility
1/9 vision
1/9 confidence
1/9 - (weight / 6)

seems plausible since, again, the numerators add up to 9. I've checked some of my own guys, and the few on the last few pages that included weight and it seems to check out.
