Same with us Conn, because of us getting raped by the usuals in the beginning of the season we were at 14th at one point. Did I think we were number 14? no but its entertaining to grab a win and see how much you move up.

UPCOMING GAMES OF THE WEEK

Western Conference
Laval at Memphis - The Lumberjacks and Maulers have identical records and are both part of that scrum of teams sitting at 8-4. As a result, Laval currently holds the #8 seed, but is only one game from being positioned for a home playoff game. Conversely, Memphis currently is positioned for a home playoff game, but is one game away from being in 8th place. This game, along with the Huskies vs. Dirtbags game, should help to start separating those teams. I don't know who is the favorite, but Memphis must be looking to solidify it's home field position, and hopes to do so in front of the rowdy 22510 fans predicted for attendance at the game.

Eastern Conference
Quebec at Lancaster - Lancaster has lost 2 of the last 3 (the lone win being against the gutted former Irish), and has to really make a turn to take down the top-seeded Quasars. Realistically, I don't know if Lancaster can do it, but with the Rented Mules coming up on the schedule next for Quebec, maybe the Hustlas can steal a win if the Quasars are looking forward to next week.

Snoozer of the Week
Yellowknife vs. British Columbia - Speaking of the Rented Mules, they pretty much have a bye week with the BC Gutted Knights on the schedule. I don't know where the Mules came from this season, but they have done a tremendous job of turning the franchise around, and are a real force in the East. They can look forward to next week's matchup against the Quasars.

Having the Mules mentioned here is a first for us! Well, being mentioned in a good light is a first anyway.

Thanks for the power rankings, I enjoy them.

We are taking you very seriously next game. While we have pretty much locked up a 1 seed, we aren't taking any chances

I was surprised to look up and see you guys with those good players and builds you have. You have done a great job putting that team together, considering they were the doormat 2 seasons ago

kudos

Thanks. We are not quite up to your level yet though.

We defined doormat, even heading into this season (I think we were an overall 36 going into the Antioch game). We made one nice recruiting move at the start of the season and had a good core that was developed since the start but we were still way behind. Then another team that I was on broke up and allowed me to grab a few of my own players. We became remotely decent which was a huge upgrade from dung heap and that opened the door to recruiting better players. We have been re-arranging the chairs non-stop (check out our horrific chemistry) now that recruiting is a bit easier to sell.

Looking forward to tomorrow - if we can keep within spitting distance I'll be very happy! You guys have built a powerhouse.

Good game. You guys moved the ball like we weren't on the field at times. Hopefully we'll get another crack at you in a week.

Good luck with your last two and the play offs.
