Week 8 Predictions:

Dayton <-FnA-> at Athens Nighthawks
This will be a dog fight for sure, but I'm not picking against my team. GL to the Nighthawks and to one less point than us.

Burnt Orange Rising vs Arlington Avalanche
Here is where the #1 offense by default ends it winning streak. I believe the BOR are the real deal now and could possibly win out and sneak away with a home playoff game. The Avalanche have only played one maybe two games against quality opponents and have become league leaders in just about everything, they will get served a piece of humble pie here.

Amsterdam Smokers at Helsinki Devils
I think the Devils could win this game, but I don't think they do. A really though game to call as the Smokers were the class of the league just a few shorts weeks ago but with the loss to BOR, things in this league maybe closer than meets the eye. The Devils are trying to keep from losing 3 in a row by trying to limit the number of snaps the Smokers offense takes.

Canterbury Crimson Crusaders at Oslo Norsemen
CCC cruises here as the Norsemen are struggling to find an identity, somewhere in the middle with an outside shot at the playoffs. The CCC is coming off a deflating loss to BOR but have scored 57 TD's compared to 7 by Norsemen. Easy victory here.

Amsterdam Red Lights at AAA Huskies
Well the Red Lights aren't a league powerhouse just yet but will enjoy a few TD's here. Can the AAA keep up to non-shut out streak alive here? I think they do.

2nd Game of the Week
Bastogne Bastards vs Brussels Sprouts
Tight game here. If the Bastards can stop the one man show going on with the WR in Sprouts, they win this game by a mile. If not, they could be touched big time.

Manchester Drunken Monkeys vs Eintracht Frankfurt
The Monkeys have to improve that defense before they are considered a real playoff team but this game will give them a morale boost playing a drifting ship. However with the CPU player upgrades this could be a close game.

Easy Company vs Dallas Terror
Big much needed win here for the Company. However I hope they haven't sold all their tickets, as they look in trouble, and 29 defensive players aren't helping that. Dallas and their slow build selves are slowing moving up to level 8, watch out when they all by that level 8 equipment.

There will only be one undefeated team after this week, and I hope its us but not counting the chickens just yet.

Yeah this is what weve been waiting for all year. I may watch dayton athens game before I watch my own tomorrow. Really happy you guys play eachother before I have to take you on. The BOR AVs game is going to anwser a ton of questions about a lot of teams.

Its just a great time to be a fan of this league.

I would be lying if I said I wasnt nervous.

I will be suprised if you dont pull it off kp, but a man with a win against me always gets the benefit of the doubt over a team that hasnt yet.

I think people around here suddenly decided they were the best team and are know talking trash, which is good for everyone.

I remember the days of 3 of us talking to each other on here, uhh the simpler times.

I am still the only one with several threads that has reached the 200 post count, lol.

I was asking about the recap and this weeks predictions lmao. I know the trash talking has hit an all time high, but Im pretty sure its going to calm down in the next week or so.
