PROBLEM: In the Play Analyzer, for many plays, there are very few times they've been run against each other season to season.
SUGGESTION: In the Season drop down menu add an entry for 'Combined Seasons'. This will have stats for all 4 seasons combined. In fact, I would probably have that as the default option instead of Current Season. So, drop down menu would show:
Combined Seasons
Current Season
Previous Season
Season 52
Season 51

Takes up too much storage. Each year of data is enormous.

Xars is right, the amount of storage that would use and the data analysis would be enormous.

Here is the rub. Each season in the dB is around 250-300MB of data and given the hosting that I pay for I only get 1GB in dB storage. This means I can't hold more than 2 seasons in history without potential threshold limitations which I have hit before and hosting said fuck that and deleted the dB in the past. Not something I play around with.
But to your point, I could do this, its just a SQL statement so I could combine seasons but we know season to season has different meta's with who is in the league and given that the results are ultimately bias towards the current seasons meta.
I could migrate the whole server/dB structure elsewhere but would possibly include a cost increase or code migration that I just don't see viable for the short term given the interest in GLB2 in general.
I will give this some more thought, ultimately I could set the standard is combined would be current and prior season only.

Ahh, okay. I didn't realize that would put you past the limit.
But, even having the current and previous seasons combined would give us a little deeper pool of plays to compare. Three seasons would be better, of course, but if you feel it would put you too close to the cap for comfort I'd be okay with just the two.

I will dig into this... I do think this might be a bigger task than I originally anticipated, but I will give it a shot.

Just a small error I've noticed. At the bottom of the Team Scouting page, in the Player Stats section, punters are missing their touchback stat (TB). As a result the following stats have shifted to the left one column (so the Coffin stat is now under TB etc.)

Stobie, the description for Zone Shark's fire rate is incorrect.
I will take a look at this.
