How do you know that that all those years in college and medschool and interning etc weren't part of God's plan for dealing with what he knew was coming?

Because I am a learned individual. You'd think instead of spending 10+ years helping me become a doctor to help someone get over mono... he could have helped them not get mono

Why does cough medicine make soda taste like burned rubber smells? Ffs. My throat is finally un-inflamed enough and un-pained enough that I can have a soda (my biggest vice) for the first time in 9 days. Except now it tastes terrible. Boooooo

I absolutely love extended periods of cold. I'm at my happiest when we hit our 1 week of highs below 32 degrees that seems to happen almost every winter

I do like the parts of winter that get up to just below freezing. Anything warmer than that during winter sucks
