Demotions are only a facet really.

I think the biggest issue is that you can only keep so many users competitive. Some guys are gonna suck. But what is controllable are stuff like CPUs, stuff like that.

I'm thinking this offseason all leagues should be contracted. Any CPU team at the end of the season is not brought yet.

Put teams into league by some sort of record (or Effective Level/player age for people mad about SSB).

Then allow the selling of teams. After that, you put the brought teams into their own league. Any additional unbought CPU teams are "parked" and not in league play.

team-owned equipment is something we have discussed. tweaking how money is used on equipment is another thing we have talked about. changes are coming on equipment cost.

I agree with this. I think DD especially tends to write tersely, and it comes across as dismissive. Unfortunately a lot of the mods seem to think he is being dismissive (and perhaps he is) and are openly dismissive, which really hurts the game. But that's really off topic.

Its how they end up closing threads. They get everyone to argue and close it up. Gotta say i have played a lot of games online and this game has some of the most rude GM/ADMINS out there. If you cant deal with your paying costumers in a proper manner then get a new job. If some dont like your opinion (yes we do have one) then they just shoot you down and insult you hoping it causes turmoil. Best way to close a thread that isnt going in there favor. I dont mind seeing paying customers bash others opinions but should GM/ADMIN be allowed. If i am insulting to one I get a possible ban

But its getting ridicules that the people who work on this game continually use insults to there paying customers. Not all but some. Thats been the problem with this game from day 1.

I'll say it again. this penalizes the rest of us for things done by some teams at top. Where is there punishment. This if anything strengthens there grasp of higher leagues as teams with low cash at moment have no choice because they will NEVER compete at higher levels for a few seasons now. This just solidifies the higher leagues that have cash already IMO that manipulated system in first place and punishes all those who have struggled just to field rosters with no cash or agent base. Rich get Richer and weak get dumped and lose cash and Stadiums.

I was leaning towards a combination of both. SSB is an issue regardless of how widespread it is. Technically my changes don't kill the concept of SSB, it just makes it incredibly unviable to do so because all the SSB teams essentially cannibalize each other.

My only concern is putting too much weight into effective level or you're going to have random regular nonboosters getting pummeled by SSBers. Too little and nothing gets done.

1) It would put a huge halt to Flex purchases for awhile.

2) All the time/effort spent developing our dots and teams would be wasted, no? .
