Even though the Sphere suffered a devastating loss it's important to remember that Iowa Jones is still the league rushing leader.

Well at least you've got that to hold onto.

But I wouldn't be too excited:

Iowa Jones - YPC 7.9

Earl "Tyler Rose" - YPC 7.6

Chris Whaley - YPC 9.6

Jemarcus Kane - YPC 8.6

He's not the best HB in the league anymore.

But maybe after he gets done playing all the gutted teams he'll catch back up. . . .

Oh, wait. . . .

Rushing title is for most total yards, not yards per carry. Maybe you should ask Bort to change the rules. Oh and Chris Whaley also played those same gutted teams.

C Whaley has gotten 20 less yards on a lot less carries. if it were important to us, he would have about 500 more yards than Iowa jones.

All the rb stats are so out of whack who cares. If I see another wr block 2 or 3 guys at once I may throw the monitor out the window.

When even teams play the ol is holding blocks too long and guys with over 80 str and 75 tkl are missing tackles.

There wil be more 2000 yard backs in this league, this season, than the NFL has had in it's history at this pace.

I may be in the minority, but the unrealistic boosts to offense this season have made the game less interesting to me.

I won't even get started on every decent wr catching passes in double and triple teams.

Agreed about the offenses being out of whack especially when a level 16-20 WR can outplay a level 27-29 CB.

The sim changes this season have been pretty extreme. And by "extreme", I mean "bullshit".

My computer, monitor, and everything within arms reach is in serious danger every time I watch our replays and see a WR catch a ball when you can't even see the blue dot under the yellow dot.

It's happened more times than I care to even think about.

I can handle some changes every season, but our defense went from Top 3 level to "Can't Catch Clap in Vietnam Whorehouse" level in one off-season.

The tackling nerf, by itself, I could've lived with. I would have (and did) bitch about it, but whatever. I could also been convinced that the WR/CB match-up last season was a little bit too in favor of the CB. Fine. But all Bort has done is to make everything go to the opposite extreme. No one can fucking tackle (including one of my DT's with well over extremely high STR and decent (40+) tackling and every WR with a pulse is the next coming of Jerry Rice. Add on top of that the various "unintended" consequences: 1) inconsistant RDE pathing, 2) the "oops, I just fell down as the ball was thrown" CB phenomenon and 3) my favorite, the "my 90+ str NT can't do shit" phenomenon.

For some reason we haven't been nearly as bit by the "tackling" issue as most other teams. I think we saw that one coming and really focused on building towards that.

But the pass defense issue has bit us square in the ass.

Hmmm my LB has over 50 tackling and 50 strength and was playing on power tackling and has only missed, I think, 3 tackles.
