Yeah, I think our games against the Warriors and the Red Bulls are both toss ups, if we could split those (a big if) and win the rest (though I'm worried about the Fisherman), then we'd be in good shape entering the playoffs.

Ok, done. We beat the firestorm we'll lose to you, you beat the Red Bulls, you lose to us

Sounds good to me. . .now if we could only get the Red Bulls to agree to this, everyone wins(or something). . .

Red Bulls had some early losses, they are looking much better as of late. I say Bulls lose that game and to the Warriors, then Tsunamis get a higher seed (if we win our games)

We're actually hoping that your bus gets lost on the way to the stadium...

Gargus, I'll take that, so long as it gives us a tie instead of a loss. . .

Seriously, though, I thought that the Red Bulls would be one of the two best teams in the conference going into the season (the Titans being the other), and, while we've performed better than I expected, I still think that the Red Bulls are as good if not better, than us. I still don't understand how they lost that first game, even though I know the Razorbacks are very good.

Fortunately (for us), the Red Bulls (and the Titans) have a tough last game, too.

Turbo, if we have only two losses at the end of the season, I'm not sure that you guys would be a higher seed than us even if you had two as well. I know that head-to-head matters for a two-team tiebreaker, but don't know the rules for a multi-team tiebreaker (maybe best record against the other tied teams, which, if the tie was between the Bulls, Red Bulls and Tsunamis, would mean the Red Bulls would be #1, Bulls #2 and Tsunamis #3). All that being said, seeding really only matters for cash purposes, as I think most of the playoff games will be close to toss-ups this season. I mean, if I had a choice of which of the other 7 playoff teams I'd want the Bulls to face, I have no idea how I'd make that decision, unless I could draft the Venom into the playoffs. . .

How are the Red Bulls supposed to be 14-2, when we've already lost 2 games, and the Bulls be 16-0? The Red Bulls haven't played the Bulls yet. So, the red bulls should either be 13-3, or the Bulls should be 15-1

Shhhh. . . don't complain, maybe the sim will pay attention to the projector and we'll both get a win in our game. . .

its actually calling our game with the Titans (in 2 weeks) a tie now ....21-21... basically it could go either way. That game will almost determine who gets at least 3rd place in the standings.....

then week 16,

Red Bulls vs Delta Force
Bulls vs Winona
Titans vs Idols
Tsunamis vs Kraits
Firestorm vs Buzzards (a little easier for them and Tsunamis)

So the current top teams are going to be duking it out, making it very possible for the current lower seeds to be able to sneak past. The rankings will be a toss up until the very last week. Should be a awesome week of games.

On both your teams stat pages the projector is calling it a win....basically a toss up game, going to be close. Looking at the previous scores, i think its also that you guys have very different scores against the same teams, so its rating your matchup differently.

EDIT
The projections are what it would look like if both teams won....so just subtract a win from the Bulls to make you feel better They would still be 15-1 (if they win week 16)

I'll take it.

I'm actually going to be out of the country when this game takes place, so I wont get to see the results. But hopefully it's a good one. I'm not going to lie, i'm a bit nervous.

Wow, what a very humble statement. Quite the opposite of a lot of posters on this forum.

I have noticed that you're cautious to make a statement that would come back and haunt you. I appreciate the humility!

We learned last season that winning a bunch of games in a row doesn't really mean a whole lot, especially as teams can change so much during the season (for example, Pacific is already a significantly better team than when we played them).

Further, despite all the team building and game planning, at the end of the day, this game comes down to the rolls of a random-number generator, so any sort of pride or boastfulness about a team's or player's accomplishments really needs to account for the significant amount of luck that was factored in (Exhibit A being our game against the Buddhas last season).

Finally, I'm a fan of Philadelphia's professional sports teams, so I'm not sure how to react when something goes well, as I'm not particularly used to it (though when things go badly, I'm well trained in getting my hate on).

Also, if I wasn't nervous about playing you guys, I'd be an idiot.
