yes, i know exactly what you mean. We owned Conventry Terror from the get go, yet i guess we are a "bad team." We look forward to our upcoming challenge against Dayton.

Challenge it will be, indeed. With the rocking you put up today, we'll be ready for you by game time Thursday. GL and 1 point less than us.

Dayton is a tough, solid team...better go into that game prepared.
Originally posted by ultrajer Week 6 results: L Amsterdam Smokers over Dublin Boghoppers Game of the year right here. I am going with the Smokers by a notch. Both are top 3 in rushing and both allow less than 40 yards per game on the ground, this could come down to passing, which both are middle of the road against. Good game to watch.
W Canterbury Crimson Crusaders over Syracuse Slashers CCC by a land slide as the Slashers have already started rebuilding for next season.
W Dayton <-FnA-> over Athens Nighthawks Nighthawks are tough but Dayton has the right plan, we think, maybe, kinda sure.
W Amsterdam Red Lights over Manchester Drunken Monkeys The Monkeys are losing there #1 CB and WR at roll over tonight, so they will be even weaker by game time. ARL roll easily.
L Coventry Terror over Arlington Avalanche I believe that Avalanche can hang with the Terror for awhile but I think the Terror outlast for the victory.
W Helsinki Devils over Glasgow Doom The Doom still get no love from this thread as they will be the underdog again heading into this game. The Doom are the worst in the league against the pass and the Devils are leading the league in passing, not a good combo if your the Doom.
W Oslo Norsemen over Iceland Dream Team 2 bad passing defenses here, so we'll go with the best passing team of the two, the Norsemen. Could be a blow out, but may not be too bad.
L Barcelona Admirals over Burnt Orange Rising Well someone will get into the win column, may as well be the Admirals. Close game here.
Canterbury Crimson Crusaders vs. Syracuse Slashers 66-10 Oslo Norsemen vs. Iceland Dream team 34-14 Dayton <-FnA-> vs. Athens Nighthawks 44-20 Amsterdam Smokers vs. Dublin Boghoppers 17-20 Coventry Terror vs. Arlington Avalanche 13-32 Glasgow Doom vs. Helsinki Devils 14-54 Barcelona Admirals vs. Burnt Orange Rising 9-38 Manchester Drunken Monkeys vs. Amsterdam Red Lights 6-58
5-3 not shabby I guess, missed big time on the Terror/Avalanche game, won't happen again.
Dublin Boghoppers over Barcelona Admirals The Admirals are rebuilding a little, and cleaning house, the LB that has been all over the forums wanting a trade on his last day under contract, which apparently he got. The Boghoppers by a mile.
Amsterdam Smokers over Iceland Dream Team IDT looks like they may be a team in financial trouble by the end of the season having under a million right now, but team wise they just didn't keep pace with the 2/3rds of the conference. The Smokers on the other hand remained a powerhouse riding there running game.
Canterbury Crimson Crusaders over Helsinki Devils While the Devils have a good team, and coming off the big Doom win they got noticed pulling out the passing game almost at 2,000 yards so far. CCC are a little more balanced and are playing good ball this season. Sorry Devils, CCC takes this one.
Athens Nighthawks over Oslo Norsemen Sorry Norsemen, I'll love to pick you but I don't think there is enough in you. I think you could win but odds are it wouldn't happen this week. The Nighthawks are coming off a tough lose last week and will be looking for a little revenge, providing they pay attention to these games and not the tourney games they've entered. Nighthawks by a small margin.
Dayton <-FnA-> over Arlington Avalanche We have a plan....we think, maybe, sort of
Amsterdam Red Lights over Glasgow Doom The Doom are heavily recruiting but its just not the same level guys as they need for this league but have some good looking rookies. The ARL are battling some inactives but have a strong balanced offense, should have a good day here.
Coventry Terror over Syracuse Slashers Terror opened the season with a win against ARL, but have cooled off against good competition since but they get a bye against the building Slashers.
Burnt Orange Rising over Manchester Drunken Monkeys For the first time ever BOR is picked to win by Ultrajer. The BOR got some offense going and if they can get to the Monkeys on defense, should win they're second win in a row. The Monkeys just need an offensive line and big time defensive help, but might be back by the end of the season.
Mostly easy games this week, but a few gems in there. Good Luck to all teams entered into the WEA tourney.
