Dude you need to calm down.I joined a newly aquired team called the Somalia Wasps last year. It is a 3rd team from the Mainboard Pimps. There are about 12 guys that have players on there and are extremely active and just as addicted this game as me. We went undefeated last year and we beat a "zombie team". You have to grow as a football team and become active and loyal then you'll start to become dominate. Who cares if they have these so called "zombie teams" if they win the championship they move up. You never have to play them again.

Dgrasshoppa2, good point. But there are at last count around 7 zombie teams in our league. We have to wait 7 whole seasons before they are all gone and the rest of us have a shot.

But I don't understand how this thing called chemistry can be allowed to be a factor in our games, when the "zombies" aren't affected by it.
The NFL penalises teams for being good - it puts them at the bottom of the draft for the next season. That's how competitive balance is maintained. But in GLB there isn't a draft, and there isn't as far as I can see any mechanism for competitive balance.
I think chemistry should be abolished, or there should be a restriction on the number of owner or GM own players on a team.
I want my team to be successful, I just paid up to have it for the next 12 seasons or so, but I want to share that success with my coordinators and players. Loyalty and sharing and team spirit are equally as satisfying as winning, so I really think the "zombie" owners are missing out.

If the "Zombie" team owners want to dump quite literally $100 a month to stay competitive, then why stop them? Will they be good teams? Of course they will. I am, however, willing to avatar bet anyone that the league champion is a team with at least 10 different agents at starting positions. And Zombie teams generally don't last. Most of those owners don't continue pumping money into that pit, and once they stop boosting, they lose their advantage.
Zombie teams while having an obvious chemistry advantage, loses the benefit that comes from having 15-30 sets of eyes and opinions to work from. They often get caught up in the details of trying to coordinate that many players that they gleam less information from the forums, and miss out on much of the information that is passed between the 100's of other team forums that an active teams agents have access to. Its why a good percentage of the "zombie" teams fail.
In short, stop bitching and man up. Trash-talking is great, and while I'm not usually one doing it, I love to read it. But the bitchfests about other players/owners not playing the game exactly the same as some other player/owner is stupid. So are the bitchfests about the game engine changing. Put your best team on the field, with the best gameplan you got, and if you win great, if you lose, learn adapt and do it again.

Look. My apologies again. Schneids16 and datongw , I am sorry and God Bless you both. My frustration stems from the time and money spent attempting to compete, and all the human players I have who are upset at what seems like impossible odds. I overreacted, again, and will shut up now and quit these attacks.
To remind myself of my own failings, I created a new player today, Brian Piccolo, Jr. He knew what the game was really about. His example could inspire us all. I was wrong. Peace to you all, and please enjoy the game and your lives.
