Well Zeta surprised me last round making it now only 41/48

Next round:

Alpha:

IKK Fu - Marseille (Its #1 vs #2. Both teams have played Reykjavik and Belgian, with IKK Fu winning much more convincingly than Marseille. As they also got better players and depth, IKK Fu takes this one)
South Yorkshire - Bow Street (Its been going crap for us while South Yorkshire been doing good. With the new sim hitting us so hard that we can't beat Belfast or Glasgow i don't see how we stand a chance against South Yorkshire. South Yorkshire takes an easy win)
Belfast - Reykjavik (Reykjavik doesn't stand a chance here and will yet again be crushed by one of the top teams)
Lyon - Belgian (Belgian has done better than expected against IKK Fu and Marseille, but they weren't good enough then and isn't good enough to beat Lyon either who will win.)
Southriding - Limerick (Southriding has started very well, and even gave South Yorkshire lots of trouble. Limerick on the other hand didn't do as well against South Yorkshire, so its clear Southriding got the better team and will win this.)
Glasgow - Cork (Glasgow had some ups and downs so far with loss against Southriding, but victory over us. Cork has one win as they just haven't been strong enough to challenge the top teams. Glasgow takes this one, but its far from a sure victory.)
Sweden - Port St Lucie (Port St Lucie has so far been chanceless, while Sweden has allready blown their playoff chance. However Sweden did prove against Belgian they are not a releagtion team, so they will win this one easily.)
Spaniard - Belgrade (Spaniards only easy game in the first 6, and this one they will surely win)

Zeta:

London - Shamrocks (Londons first serious challenge this season, while Shamrocks isn't looking equally good after having trouble against Tranmere and barely losing it. London takes this one)
Buffalo - Nola (Nola has had 2 easy wins so far, but now they meet one of the best teams. Buffalo should win this one easy)
Rome - Walthamstow (As one of the conference favourites Rome should win this.)
Munich - Fighting Irish (Munich did a shocking upset against Vatican, while Fighting Irish dissapointed by getting crushed by Nola. Munich takes another victory here)
Tranmere - Koln (Tranmere pulled of a hard victory last game, which might prove critical. Koln is fightin g to avoid relegation, but will be no match for Tranmere who easily will win)
Vatican - Kilkenny (Vatican stumbled against Nola, while Kilkenny earlier narrowly lost against Rome. Kilkenny should win this as they just seem better atm)
Drunken - Phoenix (As usual i think Phoenix will get massacred.
Athen - Leeds (This rounds topgame, even though its clearly a bottomgame. Both teams need to win this, as the loser face a good possibility of relegation. My guess goes to Athen who seems abit stronger.)

Good game against Rome, think our kicking game saved us, along with some decent short yardage rushes.

Either your kicking game saved you, or ours killed us... if our kicker wasn't my first born I'd consider cutting him

GG Dogs. See you in a few weeks.

Round 4 is finished and again there were some upsets making me only get 13/16 correct.

Alpha:

The topgame between IKK Fu and Marseille never happened, as IKK Fu just massacred them. IKK Fu is still leading Alpha, while Marseille fell down to 5th.

Belfast crushed Reykjavik, as Reykjavik just couldn't seem to stop Belfast's offense.
Belfast moves up to second, while Reykjavik faces relegation on 15th.

Bow Street followed South Yorkshire well in the first half, but South Yorkshire proved stronger in the 3rd quarter giving us no chance to get even again.
Not surprisingly South Yorkshire wins comfortably and rounds up the undefeated teams on a 3rd, while Bow Street's bad start takes them down to 11th.

Southriding met Limerick and after two huge passing TD they were leading after first half, as Limerick strugled to get through their defense.
Second half saw much the same as neither team got anywhere until yet another long passing TD to Southriding.
Even though Limerick finally scored in the 4th quarter, Southriding put in 2 FG and never really gave them any chance.
Southriding is still following the top teams on 4th, while Limerick holds the unsecure 8th place atm.

Glasgow crushed Cork, with Cork barely being able to get to Glasgows half during the first half.
Though Cork did manage to keep up better during the second half they still didn't stand a chance.
Glasgow is on 6th while Cork has fallen behind on 10th.

Lyon met Belgian and shockingly Belgian just ran over them during the first half, taking a secure lead. Lyon got more into the game during the second half, but Belgian was still better holding the upper hand, and so held them off easily to a victory.
Belgian takes todays first upset sending them away from relegation to 12th while Lyon falls down to 7th.

Sweden met Port St Lucie and had huge problems.
As expected they took the lead but then got saved by an interception in their redzone.
They managed to get into Port St Lucies redzone but were forced to make a FG.
Sweden had severe problems which Port St Lucie exploited, by scoring a KR TD right after and then later a long pass TD, meaning Port St Lucie lead 14-10 during halftime.
Sweden took back the lead quickly in the 3rd quarter, followed by both teams defenses shutting down their opponents offense completly.
Port St Lucie managed a FG right before the 3rd quarter ended, meaning the 4th quarter started with a tie.
Sweden finally broke through Port St Lucies defense and scored a TD.
And when Port St Lucie could only get a FG, Sweden just used up all the time before putting a FG ending the game.
Sweden takes 9th after almost screwing up while it isn't looking good for Port St Lucie whos last.

Spaniards troubled against Belgrade barely leading 14-7 by halftime.
Belgrade quickly tied the game as the second half started and then continued to pressure Spaniard.
As the game started to come to an end, Spaniards where forced to make a FG to take the lead, but their defense couldn't stop belgrade this time who scored a TD winning the game.
Belgrade gets away from relegation for now on a 13th, while Spaniards is in huge trouble as they are down at 14th.

Zeta:

London crushed Shamrocks and is still holding the lead, while Shamrocks actually moved up to 7th but its very close down there.

Though Nola gave Buffalo a good fight during the first half, Buffalo wore them down as the game proceeded taking a comfortable victory in the end.
Bufalo still at 2nd as the other undefeated team, while Nolas is in the playoff fight group on 9th.

What happened to Rome is a big riddle, but Walthamstow just crushed them during the first half leading 21-7.
Rome tried their best to even the score as the 3rd quarter started, but Walthamstow managed to hold them off and then let time run out to secure this shocking victory and upset.
Rome still hold their 3rd though, while Walthamstow is in the playoff fight group on 11th.

Munich proved to strong for Fighting Irish and won as expected.
Munich still holds that surprise 4th place, while Fighting Irish fell down to 13th.

It was a hard and close game between Vatican and Kilkenny, but Kilkenny flew away with the victory sending them up to 5th, while Vatican is atm on the unsecure 8th place.

Tranmere had no problems against Koln and is following the top teams on 6th while Koln is dangerously close to rleegation on 14th.

Drunken crushed Phoenix as expected taking 10th place but staying in the playoff fight group. Phoenix still holds the relegation spot at 15th.

Athen proved they had nothing to do in the relegation fight as they massacred Leeds and are now breathing out on 12th while Leeds is last.

GG Beer. Your passing game is killer.

30/41 for 4 TDs and no ints against a previously undefeated team isn't too bad. This wont be the last time the Beers pull off a big upset this season...

Hardly, Dogs had a better game plan. Wasn't expecting the passing to be as good as it was, plus I was trying a little something different on the DB's. We lost, fair and square, don't tarnish the victory for the dogs.

Me either. BUT I can assure you it won't happen again. They'll not sneak up on us twice.

Good Game Bow Street!

MLA and Asmodan im sorry you have a whiner for a gm. let him know if he didnt spend so much time typing on the forums and copying and pasting replays he might have had a couple seconds to set tactics i guess i should hurry off and compile my list of replays i dont understand because im not the tactician i thought i was and list all the broken tackles we had and tackles for a loss. I feel for you MLA and Asmodan let him know i have some humble pie if he's still hungry. so to you Asmodan and MLA i say great game. your buddy Almighty has been weighed on the scales and found wanting.

thanks for the kind words Asmodan i enjoy reading all the predictions. too bad Cork City gets to feel the wrath Bow Street has wrought. i hope we can meet again so i can leave absolutely no doubt who was the better team in almighty's mind, instead of experimenting with new plays next time ill go straight for the throat.

I am shocked with the result. Great game Rippers I just dont think we are a 31-7 losing team to anyone. AH Heck we all have bad games. Maybe its a letdown from the previous game.

Not to take away from Rippers NICE JOB MAN!!!

To be honest, I was very surprised at the result myself. I was gearing up for a close game and put in a lot of time scouting. I have been very impressed with your team in general especially considering that they came from a team where literally EVERYONE was banned. It's why I considered Ace Halo to be the coach of the year last season.

Of course, we have another tough opponent in Tranmere coming up, so we got to avoid the letdown.

Edited to be a little more civil.

For the record:
The first thing I wrote was "Congrats to the Stars".
The Stars OWNED us. They absolutely deserved to win and I have not said anything to the contrary.
The Star O Line was dominant, whereas our own didn't seem to get their thing going.
The Stars have an outstanding WR who made some clutch plays.
Our defence made several bad plays when we had chances to stop the Stars. You cannot make mistakes against a team as good as them. I posted the most irritating to illustrate my frustration as DC. There was ONE. I repeat ONE play that seemed strange, and I posted that one too.
The Stars won because they didn't make mistakes, and made plays when they needed to. We lost because we did neither of those things. There wereseveral times we could have given ourselves a chance of winning, and we didn't take those chances.

For some reason the Stars' owner chose to interpret my posts as whining. That is his interpretation only, and I attribute it to the fact that we're posting on a message board, not talking face to face. Possibly he is also cynical about the nature of online boards like this one. Understandable. At no point did I claim the result was unfair.

We did not deserve to beat South Yorkshire. They are worthy winners. Clear enough for you yet? or would you rather just be like Storm and believe that every post is an attack against your team?
