No dot is fully free if they are fully upgraded to not suck. If you got 10 accounts with 3 "free" players on them, you still have to buy flex to upgrade their CE.

I am very confused how this statement is that complicated. Do I need to write it in crayon or something?

Such a strong point on your part. 600 flex to buy custom gear vs compared to over 3k on a non free 150 dot. Crayon or not, it’s a shit model and it’s a shit game.

The game should switch to a subscription model, possibly several options.

- $5 per month for 5 players
- $10 per month for 15 players
- $15 per month for 25 players
- $20 per month for 40 players
- $25 per month for 55 players
- Add $5 per month for a team
- Players include AEQ upgrades
- Current flex remains but no flex back when you sell players.
- Free players remain but are only free with an active subscription. This would eventually eliminate multi as it would not make sense to buy subscriptions on multiple accounts for the free players. It would be way cheaper to consolidate and buy a larger subscription on a single account.

A subscription model generates guaranteed income. It would also flood the game with real dots which would rejuvenate it. It would likely generate more income for Bort than is being generated now while simultaneously being cheaper and more fun for current users. It’s a win-win.

I don't think I was making the point you think I was making.

Is there a limit in your opinion and if so what would that amount be to be considered abusing?

In a world where Bort somehow can't even tag all of PJ's multi's successfully for banning, I'm just not sure what you think should happen here?

Multi's are approved by afk admins. They will not be policed in any aspect. If somehow Bort could police the multi's (tie accounts to phone numbers or something then lock the rest out), the playerbase would shrink dramatically and the number of paying users that'd get pissed and quit would put a final coffin in the game.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's dumb that multi's exist. From a user experience perspective its sub-optimal to log into multiple accounts. But GLB's pricing model didn't effectively change in the past 20 years and it honestly should have (net flex$ per season is the same after the dotpoc since Bort basically used my math I gave him and ignored suggestions at reductions).

Dotball 20 years ago was like football offseason crack, and objectively had insane pricing. It still has insane pricing, and to all you people with teams full of dots, my hat is off to you but that's expensive as shit for a video game. I think people spending slightly less thousands of dollars per season by using some multis isn't a real problem since the game has poor pricing.

Still, end of the day the game dies if you police multis, and admins don't want to police multis, and admins abandoned GLB and "left beta" when it was still bringing in fucktons of revenue. Borts decisions to stop developing GLB was not a financial one, it was a life choice and an emotional one.

There aren't that many people here. No real point in villainizing a significant portion of the peeps who are round. We are all just dotball nerds trying to enjoy some loldots!

Clearly if Bort cared at all it would be beneficial to revamp GLB1's pricing model and offer some sort of full-team purchase options. The current pricing benefits neither him, nor GLB itself, nor the userbase. However that's not the reality we are in, where this (or anything else) is being considered.

The expense of building a full team, which lasts 2 real life years, is lolz if you step back.

What you guys also fail to realize is multi's are a big part of how PJ was caught cheating.

I made my first multi dots on conq account. These dots were shittier since I was bad at logging into that 2nd account and training/paying attention to build plans.

Fast forward my dots entire crappy career. Then in decline he was sent a contract from Mob and I accepted. Somehow this dot was a beast on Mob (in decline after having a crap career). This was shared with RC who finally was able to raise the Bort flag.

I think it's safe to say if I didn't have a multi, PJ would still be here with unlimited cheater championships. You guys are welcome!

I can’t even find an example of a more expensive video game. So I have no idea wtf you are saying here.

55 players for 2 years is well over 500 dollars. Yes, you don’t have to have 55 players, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s expensive as hell.
