Well...I have some news as well.

Bad news - 1980s Clown World is folding...just has to many build issues. I learned many things in our Rookie season and don't want to continue with all the bad builds. Being off for a few years and seeing how many things have changed provided some insight on what needs to be done to compete at a high level. Also, College Football Legends can load up with S*.

Good news - 1980s College Football Legends will be loaded. This historic team will have 8 S*, including a S* Option QB - Jamelle Holieway, S* HB* - Bo Jackson, S* TE - Keith Jackson and S* MLB - Brian Bosworth...as well as legends such as Hershel Walker, Tim Brown, Michael Irvin, Desmond Howard, Derrick Thomas, Tony Mandarich and a slew of others.

As stated before, our offense will be geared around a "very run heavy" attack, lead by an option QB. But with S* Keith Jackson and some diverse skilled WRs, don't be surprised when Holieway drops back and throws darts with Gold Thread the Needle. Every game plan will be different...I am talking radically different. We might run %100 of the time or we might pass %50 of the time. We might hit you with WR screens to speedster Desmond Howard or run up the gut with Bo Jackson or run around the end with Jamelle Holieway...and just when you least expect it, fire a lazer to Keith Jackson for a TD...or a slant to Tim Brown who breaks a tackle or two with Gold Power Through and YAC and stretches for the first down while demoralizing the defense.

This offense will win, not because of a few predictable players and plays, but because of the multitude of ways it will attack the defense with different plays and player types.

Get ready for the most unpredictable offense in GLB History...and the most exciting. Next season can't get here fast enough!!!

Seriously though, game has changed some, GL on the next run. If I can convince my wife to spend Agerms $$$ I would give it a go against you as well. Maybe a team will pick me up as DC!

I don't consider his team a failure, though it does have room to improve. He's definitely still learning the nuances of the passing game, but outside of a few bad losses he's beaten some quality teams (including yours, and very nearly mine) and has remained relevant in the playoff race all the way to the end. If he fixes his inability to complete passes and shores up his pass defense, I expect we'll see him do even better next season.

cmon the nebraska train buddy. I would like to be able to just focus on offense and I'm fairly/entirely certain we see eye to eye on defense.

Butler, please add JujitsuK (of the Flying Kaze) to the list. He mentioned in the Palm League forums that he will be creating a rookie team next season.

If I had 1 flex for every GLB 1%er who asked to join forces with us...

But alas, GE's army is an entity to ourselves. We play for our own pride, for our fellow teammates and coaches. We are the 99%ers....those that strive to be champions but always fall short. Mark my words, by the will of GE, we will one day, with ladder 'ship trophy in hand, ascend to the mountain top and claim our rightful place as a GLB elitist!!!
