This is not a league brother, its a rookie draft and only a rookie draft...I think you're confused with the previous user ran leagues I ran that used to use a draft system..this is nothing like that at all....the draft will be a normal draft...if 10 teams are drafting, they will draft picks 1-10 in the 1st round then backwards 10-1 in the 2nd round.

I see. I imagine there are no rules with regards to cutting players then?

If that's the case then it's a bad idea to include non boosters. Teams will look to replace them as soon as they can.

and why would a team draft a non-booster ahead of a booster then cut him? thats a wasted pick, it would be foolish...
All the rules are already in place in regards to the draft itself and only the draft itself...Anyone mis-using or causing mischief in this draft will be banned from ever entering the draft in the future. *no exceptions*
I can't help but to find your trend of questioning very disturbing and very irrelevant to this draft since it does not pertain to any user ran league of teams

I just came in with the wrong assumptions is all, and it took a few questions to figure it out. Others might too. I think it's good to get clarification.

I definitely like this idea, but most teams have around 35 players. I don't know if we'll get 350 boosting players in the draft pool.

I just want to let the non boosting agents be aware that their players might get cut. I don't want people to come in under the wrong assumptions.

My advice to teams drafting would be don't draft non-boosters if they are planning on cutting them...that is straight forward a mis-use of the draft itself...I will be keeping tabs on what happens during the draft and after the draft...teams that are found mis-using the draft, will be banned from ever entering the draft ever again...that goes for the team owner and any team he owns...same applies to players mis-using the draft, if they are found not signing with the teams that drafted them or in any way cause mischief...they also will be banned from the draft...lets not go this route because I assure you this isn't my 1st dance with such things...lets have fun with this instead of focusing on attempting to sabotage it

This is basically a light-hearted way to fill up a rookie league and generate some interest in the game.

Exactly

If I get a team and only non boosters are left, I will draft them rather than recruit. Recruiting is easily the worst part of the game I'd rather tell someone that they are on my team rather than ask them nicely.

Don't expect drafted teams to be competitive long term, teams like gsm plan way ahead of time on specific builds.
