Are we thinking sure footed is a must have for HBs?

***It fires on running situation, or at least while until the HB touches the ball this can be OP with closing speed.


ya looks like a man coverage only thing so fs wouldnt be much viable unless you are running some zeb against 3/4 wr or something.

also not sure i like that it fires at the beginning of the play so much. the duration kinda makes it essentially just a conditioning boost on the play.

not sure about must have. seems to me like a lesser mr reliable? probably really good for a speed back maybe?

PUP Game. FS fires Cover Expert in Weak Cloud 6 where he should be in zone coverage if I am not mistaken.

Trying to decide if I should swap in Sure Footed for Grinder for my power back. Seems like it could help them turn the corner on outside runs, but I also haven't tested it at all. Guess I have about 12 hours to decide

ya those outside runs seem like the best use for it when in the open.

If it closes the gaps for safeties and LBs, Cover Expert may be the key to defending against TEs. Of course, it may not be enough.

It could also help out with zone plays as far as quickly closing on your man within those zones. Nobody knows the full extent of the new SAs. Cover Expert on the surface seems like a no brainer to get involved with safeties and LBs though to me. Of course, it may not end up being overly effective. Who knows.

Cover Expert is op, maybe adding a delay after snap? Like 1-2 seconds before it can fire.

i wonder now many points we can save in conditioning and stamina, damn this is so OP.

Not sure that we can call it OP yet... Still have to see a fair amount of snaps against quality opponents with it before we know how effective it will be. I have high hopes for it though.

Even if the aceleration and speed isn't good, it fires so often that the conditioning bonus is worth a lot, defenders will never get gased.

Closing speed fires on just about every run attempt... LBs and safeties still tire...

Hyperbole, but add closing speed and cover, it will save a lot of energy, and covert seems to fire waaay more.
