I know balance now affects all positions, last season it was completelly useless on almost every position or simply not worth leveling it.

All i'm saying is that the changes seems to heavily favor pass (what we already know) because CBs got deeply affected by it (specially in coverage pre reception), while receivers have not (route running pre rec).

On my rookie team WRs seem to slow down here and there. I could be wrong though, it's hard to tell, and definitely haven't seen them falling down unless it's after the catch. If Route Running is overriding the balance issues, then Cov Tech should influence pass coverage more(especially since that's the purpose of the skill and its cost). Only Corndog/Bort what's what though.

Really though, I just hope the Devs roll back the balance changes and try a different calibration in the off-season. Changing other things to compensate for off-balance issues may cause other parts of the sim to break. Not sure CBs and HBs can be helped otherwise

before xars chimes in with "50 balance is only 50% of max!" first research the fact that there are WRs and TEs running around with 20-30 balance and having no issues run blocking or staying upright after making sharp cuts at full sprint while HBs and CBs and most defensive players are falling on their face without any contact, sometimes barely after the snap of the play. justify that

I think that soon will be the time for a huge overhaul on skills, i love the fact that they are trying to make worthless skills relevant, but when they do to every skill players will need more skill points, but jut adding more skill points will create a lot of problems, so a rework will be necessary.

I would like a more realistic approach, a system that allowed every skill to reach a decent level, and players be able to choose the skills they want very high, but not being abble to get it all.

For you to be a pro player in real football, you need to have a decent level on all "skills", what i mean is, even a player that specializes in pass defense on the NFL has something like "70 tackling". Another thing is, a LB will never be as fast as a WR, a CB with less then 80 speed would be useless unless played zone only.

But this would need some major planning and time investment, and maybe i'm overthinking and its not necessary/good for GLB2.

A HUGE problem for me is, why don't WRs and TEs need high balance (for passing)? CBs need a lot now but receivers are just fine, balance for route running needs to be adressed, i like the changes but at the moment is was such an incredible unbalanced change, its like CBs need to go from 0-40 balance for 60-80, receivers don't seem to need any.

I've been saying this for yeeeears

Maybe they'll stop falling down when they catch the ball too...

You are doing it wrong. One of the main reasons passing is OP is because agents don't put any balance on WRs so when they catch the ball, instead of running and getting a knock loose or fumble, they fall down while catching in triple coverage.

Is it too much to ask that the owners of the business that is Warrior General Games have someone who checks the site at least once a day? Pick up games get stuck for days on end and customer concerns go unanswered.

1. People who are losing their shit because they have to actually think about adapting their builds

2. People who realize they will have to adapt, but also realize change is good for the game

So are you saying that these CAMPS are CONCENTRATED into two beliefs that are both searching for a FINAL SOLUTION?

More like PeepingFurher...

You're pretty naive if you actually think things don't need to be tweaked. As it is a few things are broken and need to be addressed, which I believe they will. I personally don't really want to play a game where you have to pass every play because rushing and coverage are broke.

Sov is on to something here.

I also like that Coverage Tech should help CB/S by Bo too.

these are the best changes ever for GE's style of defense so of course hes 100% on board for anything that benefits him personally

No roll backs. Balance is finally a skill that is useful. The more useful skills, the better and more build variety.

They need to make WRs fall down too.

Balance is too influential right now, and even with a high amount of the skill we still see wonky sim behavior. No different from how the bug earlier this season was causing morale to drop like a rock. I think people still want to see balance buffed, but in a more consistent way. Have players you are blocking, just broke a tackle, got faked out, etc., become "off-balance". But not a HB simply running out of the backfield, or a skilled CB on a routine pass assignment. I know conditioning is impacted different based on field events, so why not balance.

yes exactly my point, a handful of people were pointing out how the morale/intim changes were inbalanced/overtuned and of course there was a handful of people to say "just add 100 toughness and heart" - but the end result? those issues noted were reviewed by admins, deemed to be not working as intended, and then fixed accordingly (fixed perfectly actually)

i believe the same exact thing will happen with the balance issue. the people saying "just add more balance" are just not fully understanding of the issue. i am sure admins will re-evaluate and in the offseason it will be tweaked or fixed.

temporary setback but for the time being we're going to see lots of long bombs for TDs going over the top of CBs who are facing the sideline slowly spinning in circles like one of those jewelry box ballerinas haha
