He's frustrated, I know because he put a lot of time and effort into the defense for the game. We'd been texting back and forth constantly about the strategy for the past few days, and I know he stayed up at least as late as I did. If you check out our team page, he probably ran 20 different scrimmages testing the defense in different tiers and researching on the Scout page.

PeepingKing bailed my ass out in the previous game with his defense, I blanked out on the time of the game and accidentally left the default "Run First" preset in for a playoff game. A playoff game. And we won 3-0 because of his hard work.

As our players get more skill points, a lot of the random elements will be less prevalent... rookie introduces a lot of randomness and sometimes seeing a bunch of RNG results go against you can be extremely irritating. I was frustrated two games ago when a 3-win team got a long string of breaks go their way and we didn't go perfect in the division because of it.

I think, really, since this is just a stupid game it's good that PeepingKing is mad about the outcome. He knows enough about his opponent to notice that a kicker who made 1/3 of his kicks in the regular season drilling two 50+ yarders in the championship is a little zany. It's ok to be pissed off, maybe even a little salty.

Yes....I'm a little salty. Not at outlaws, but at this stupid AI that we all pump money into and isn't fixed as much as it should be.

I run the offense and defense for outlaw. I haven’t changed the offense or defense but once or twice all season except for the championship game I scoured you guys fully

Couldn't timely picks, balls knocked loose, and avoiding sacks be a build and playcalling thing and not RNG?

What kind of fee are you getting for providing your 5500 wins of expertise and are you available for hire?

I wish someone would pay. But it really gave me a chance to have entire team that I know would follow builds correctly and see how it does so it can be a benefit to me

Yes it could. Still think the Kicker bit is somewhat wonky and can't be explained by builds or game planning.

Having someone build a team to your specifications so you can coach it does sound like a pretty nice deal for both of you.

I think we'll stick with what we're working on, but maybe if we get tired of losing we can assemble a blood sacrifice or pile of money that's sufficient to also have a 56-time champion build our players and coach our team.

I can only imagine! PeepingKing redid the defense entirely and I redid the whole offense for the championship game and it probably took 5-6 hours out of each of our lives. That's just for 1 team!

4 teams must still be a lot of work.

Do you guys have stories scouttool? It makes it pretty fast honestly for me. I only do defense for BSB, that takes about 15 minutes to do the ladder and league. While the teams that I do offense and defense take about 30 minutes each usually if I take my team and don’t rush it.

Now I will say one big thing is to evaluate your builds and know what you do well and what you do bad. From there you can establish and identity of sort. Like knowing what plays your team runs with best. By that I know I can adjust the offense between a set of plays that do best against the defense against them and same for defense.

Yeah, we both use the Scout Tool.

(Sorry if I use "us" interchangeably, PeepingKing and I have been friends for 20 years and also work together)

It usually doesn't take that long for us, but we expected you'd probably be scouting us so we had to scout ourselves too. Plus, it was our first championship game so we spent more time than usual.

I barely touched our offense this year as well, made some tweaks but mostly just let what was working ride.

Tbh the rng loved us that day. Was sweating bullets trying to think how to win three times against you. I'm sure it won't be the same next season.
