again look at where all the fa superstars in vet landed this season. on teams that made room for them via rookies and now are well over the cap.

because they are the best teams...what i'm saying is now that S* power will get spread out to the teams that only have 1-4, instead of making teams of 11+

that is what people keep saying. but that isn't realistically how things tend to work out. its more likely a lot of them retire. in my experience, most people who have 1-4 superstars either keep to themselves and aren't actively recruiting them or they aren't teams people actively want to be a part of.

that being said, i kinda feel like this was a step backwards for the fun of the game. Less stars on the field makes for less compelling roster make ups.

Hey Spaz, you will be missed. I know that I haven't been too active lately, but being on your teams has always been a highlight for me. Even if your team forums are totally quiet, you have always run a good team with class and done some fun things. Ever since you took on my OT Meatloaf Roaf (after Stixx's Royal Crown ended). I am thinking back on SlobberKnocker, Dick Butkus, Flightless Falcon, Hitting not really meh thing, WR Space Cowboy and even Paco Sinbad.

So I guess CF has to get the hardware this season.

If you want to replace that rook G with a Vet G, I have one in mind that I can recruit.

Looks like Genesis will continue to be a good pass defense, but with only 28 points into pass power I think they'll be on the field quite a bit.

no it doesn't, it makes it easier to find a home, just won't be able to all go to the top 3 teams

This. Hello parity

There has been superstars upon superstars running around for a long time actually. If parity hasn't happened within this small of teams, it has nothing to do with superstars.

more likely there will just be fewer superstars made. a significant portion of the superstars made (in my opinion) are multi's --- trying to stack their team of choice. Now that their team of choice won't be able to hold them (if we're all understanding the change right) -- there just won't be as many multi superstar farms

It'll be a little more interesting imo. Normal players aren't really valued as highly as S* players but they can actually be good starting pieces if thought is actually put into the builds. By creating space for less star players there's a higher level of thought that comes to creating a team. Now teams have to worry about actual depth. Personally I feel like this could be useful for new agents. They come in with only normal players while everyone is only worried about stars. If this lowers multi activity then there will be a need for normal players, which will allow new agents to get actual help and experience from being on a real team.

Only those who stack their team faithfully with 9+ superstars and don't really care for extending roster spots to other agents will be super butt hurt about this. Some who have 9+ superstars now who didn't have a chance to plan out their teams future have a right to be butt hurt.

Overall though it's a good change. It just wasn't implemented properly.

Ultimately I don't mind the change, however the timing sucks. I made this team with the rookie loophole in mind in order to be competitive and I spent a while recruiting agents willing to stack S*'s on my team and we are finally getting to vet.. and next season my roster will get blown up. Oh well, I'll probably just reset and adjust

Or....they will make more teams.

Its a good change, IMO.

I've pretty much not abused the cap anyways...I have a lower tier center on both my teams, but that was due to the silly offseason cap nonsense.

you can still pile up to 9'ish or more Superstars and still be legit. Y'all will adjust, you always do.

Nothing wrong with improving the ability to get Ints, but......the devs went way overboard. QBs are throwing a pick a game now, and then I get to watch my S* QB throw 5 Ints against a CPU roster. And not on long floaty passes either. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/470885

That's a Ryan Fitzpatrick quality game right there to be fair, the CB with the most ints is called pick feast.
