Ironically, it looks like we needed Zombie in this game to resurrect our offense.

Well he did get special teams MVP.

never said his defense sucks, just that the one series where we literally got nowhere because of low confidence and then a FF wasn't a good way to 'sum up our offense and his defense' That's like posting your highest grade for the year and saying it sums up your report card. We had struggles but still managed to hit just under 60% in passing even while having no confidence. The INT even came when the offensive line was just stepping aside due to low confidence.

We didn't pass enough to start with, and I trusted our tackles too much in run blocking against his defense - I definitely lost this game for us. Still doesn't make that singular worst series the 'sum of the game' it even came on the tail end of a decent-ish drive.

I just wanted a reason to post that series

Was hoping we would get you later in the season after some chem recovery. Hopefully we'll make it more of a game this time

Actually meant that to be Rusty but I was bookmarked on Anony. Just bored.

The DAI stuff is neat... I just finished up putting together a base DAI. The added versatility should really drive down some of the eye popping offensive stats that we have been seeing if it is used correctly by a fair amount of people.

Ya I really like it. You can finally pair plays up together against one formation without fucking yourself up in another formation. Like I always hated that Quarter 3 Deep Man Up was a medium play as it would force me to run other medium plays in other formations that I really didn't like. Plus it has really allowed me to use some different zone aspects with much more satisfying results. I mean we all like Cover 3 Tiger but pairing that up with some other plays before was tough. Now its great.

Yeah... I am going to take a look at how my base DAI does against the Xenos. It is not set up to handle QB rollouts but might surprise there. Went for a standard defense for the first version. The changes should make offensive versatility critical if I had to guess. We will see how things unfold the next few seasons though.

Edit: and yeah, the previous tagging limitations were horrible!

I have more control over the tactics too. I now use an inside run play on tactics by changing some medium plays to inside run. Never use to have inside run in my tactics. I'm using every play type in the tactics. Love this new addition.
