Steamrollers defense is very good, it's what has let them stay in the top despite the nerfs to running and not boosting

I knew they were going to run TE Post all fucking day, did a shitton of research, and still couldn't stop it. There are only 4 plays at soph that have been run against TE Post 5 times or more that have held it under 3.33 ypa, edge fire strong was one of them. Not after today! lol

Lol you need to check if that play worked against the top teams. As i reckon its something that against bad teams would work

That was a mistake I commonly made in rookie - ran some awful plays cause the numbers showed they were pretty good.

Was still a valiant effort by ASU though.

DA came into the season as a surefire top 5 team with a chance at #1 - and they've lived up to that, holding the #1 spot down and solidifying their ranking with a win over Madison. Win out and they're #1 in the tier. If they lose, they've not only lost a championship, but may fall behind FSM in the ladder rankings.

Whoville is a team that has impressed significantly this season. No one expected them to be a strong team - but they've taken their share of games, including a win over LogZilla.

It will be tough for Whoville to win this one, and they lost once to DA this season. But Rob. will need to ensure his team is up to snuff. And I would like my loltrophy too

Totally rooting for Whoville because I selfishly want a chance at #1 trophy. But we'll find out which version of Whoville shows up. The team that looks like it should be ranked 5 spots higher, or the team that looks like it should be ranked 10 spots lower?

Also, a watch link would be fantastic.

I was thinking 3-3-5 man base or 3-3-5 over will or under sam but all three of those plays produce pretty average results on average. TE Post is just a really fucking good passing play, especially for Salty.

Woooow, that WR 7-11 is having a god awful game right now. Like 4 drops one of which resulted in an interception.

I'm ready for next season to start when Jabba has 70 power running.

What has he been spending his SP on? 70 seems low.

The whistle hasn't sounded yet - but looks like a resounding DA victory. The receiving corps is just too good - catching pass after pass. On the flip side, Whoville didn't have an awful game - but average is not sufficient when you're up against the best passing team in the league.

Grats to Rob - 2nd championship in a row - and continuing to hold the fort down as the #1 team in GLB2.

For a non-star HB 70 power running is extremely expensive to get to - probably has small amounts in speed/conditioning/etc.

In the most defensively oriented championship game thus far, the Sperm Whales hold the Steamroller to 3 points in a 7-3 win. Ugly win all around - definitely one to watch for the football purists.

Grats to TehKYou and mutley on their first championship!
