In fact going through most of the now Seasoned tier, the way you are presenting this pass argument seems a bit ridiculous. Looks like only 2-3 teams are run only in the top 25 or so. A lot of these teams are balanced. Are we arguing that rushing isn't that great because those few teams aren't the top teams among the rest?

The Mostly pass team I meant was akron dawgs!
No, Cooks ran 2/3rds of the time and passed 1/3rd. There are a ton of balanced teams and not many all run teams at all. Of course that is gonna make the All Pass teams look pretty good as generally they are better than being balanced and they make up a large portion of the tier.

No, not entirely. Most run teams quitted after rookie or like Cooks, became balanced or even pass orientated. Rookie just killed it.
Again, talking about competitive games and pass always beat run. Its no coincidence (or how its spelled) what you see there.

It killed it even though you ended up the second best team in rookie and all those people knowing how well Minnesota was doing? I dunno I guess I will have to see for myself this season. Granted even if times were hard for these first two seasons like you are presenting, the fact that from Seasoned on we could dominate in the running game seems worth it regardless.

Cooks were always going to be balanced, we decided to go run only first season because it was the meta before the lenient rookie passing changes or whatever that occurred that offseason iirc.

Said it in this thread already and doesnt really change it tbh.
We will get caught by all good passing teams anyway this season I expect...so dropping to 5 maybe. I expect us to get climb again in Pro or sth. Or maybe earlier if we focus on power running
But funny how you feel the need to point it out again^^

I'm curious, in s9 what was rookie GL rollout/HB toss success against 5-2 Cat Blitz 2 Roll and 5-2 Fire Zone 2?
QB rollout vs cat blitz 2 roll: 449 times 6.63 per
QB rollout vs 5-2 Fire Zone 2: 93 times 9 yards per
HB Sweep vs cat blitz 2 roll: 182 times for 1.86 yards per
HB Sweep vs 5-2 Fire Zone 2 - 35 times for 5.37 yards per

That's interesting, it triggered with Vader too. Either there's an incredibly loose definition of "help over the top", or the check might happen pre-snap based on play alignment?

It happens pre-snap. If your guy is playing in the yellow zone, it fires.
