This blocking change made no difference in the builds of the current vet teams. So a team like the Stunners has 3 full seasons with a bad ass run blocking line while the newer teams that filter in are at a significant disadvantage. The ladder is going to become a joke.


Most Pro players have relatively established marks in the effected skills.

We're really looking at Journeyman and below having to wait until certain tiers of players age out before they can become 'dominant'. More than anything, defenses will just be temporarily better against lower tier teams. Wish we could age into this change (incremental increase each season for 3 seasons or until we hit the mark).

How many skill points all together do I have to put into inspect element to equal end build? Interested to see how a couple things play out.

Put the current Pro-level players and down at negative skillpoints until they accrue enough to come out of that debt.

Are you wanting to be able to fill in every skill to 100? I love the change, just ran a couple sims through and was happy with the end game build of a 1 dimensional Offensive lineman.

I tried and got to around 90/70 on my best run

No one would build a player like that. Those caps are awful.

You need 70-80 Run Block Tech to be good at run blocking with the shed block/break run block bumps.

Pass Block tech doesn't need to be 70. Even OTs don't need more than 60.

Of course you did. Your offensive lineman haven't been affected by the change, and you were playing Journman teams.

go ahead and build a guy with only 60 pass blocking with the new changes, ill gladly watch my defenses tear that apart when you drop back for a pass.

Yeah run blocking hasn't really been nerfed too hard.

We'll see if the 5 pass nerfs and 1 pass defense buff kills passing.

Whoever thought these changes actually help balanced teams is a fool, it actually makes no sense to be a balanced team anymore.

Passing is harder and running will be harder (SP wise & break run block buffs) for any balanced teams.
