Regardless of whether he stays in on a pass or not nobody is going to give a te pass blocking skills. Lol

If you want to build a guy with pure pass catching abilities he should be a wide out not a TE. The position of TE requires a guy to block sometimes. And there is no way the game could differ a blocking TE from a receiving TE based on the builds, your asking to much if that is what you want. TEs block sometimes. Get that in your head and accommodate that in your build.
The first rule of GLB is to stop treating it like real football.

I started a HB with pass blocking skills and then I played like 5 games and thought wow this is really stupid.

Next time I play Air Raid, I'm blitzing Cleveland into submission.
I know we can't cover Fry, so we'll just convince Cleveland that Fry has more important things to do, like getting reverse pancaked by a speedy, high intimidation LB
(seriously, this is like the only good thing defensively to come out of this new rattled mechanic...otherwise, it's just another way in which passing offenses seriously overpower any defenses)

we did get some coverage changes, so dont already blame everything in terms of OP passing

Oh. I'm definitely in "Let's See How Power Requirements And Better DB Alignment Works" mode.
But, with bad receivers being held back more often, it's going to make those annoying catches between double coverage a lot more common. Just need to see if never having separation and forcing CiT rolls is enough to offset that.

Anyone played with the new zone coverage at all? Dookie won 3 of the 4 quick scrims with my haphazardly thrown together zone playbook.
Look at the Games from Doge All Go, Sophemore. Think it still Looks terrible, especially the flat ones

Can't imagine that even if Zone was a reliable sort of defense against the pass that Sophmore level would be a very good indication. That is a lot to ask for coverage.

Yea, playing coverage in general just doesnt really work in rookie and early sophomore. Its much easier to stop the pass blitzing usually.
