Look at bos production for days 1-31 and then compare 33 to 46 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/26867 We faced more difficult competition for dys 1-31 compared to days 33-46

I like how you arbitrarily picked day 33 on because you had a dip in production when Corndog made the change on day 20. lol

Hawaii is good because of their defense, so yeah not the best example. Their offense is pretty poor besides gobbling clock every once in a while.

I picked day 33 because thats when the trend started. You dont find it odd that backs who were tearing it up the first part of the season randomly fall off on the same day, hell look at the Air Raid vs Andes games and then look at the Hawaii vs Air Raid on day 39. Air Raid couldnt stop Andes rushing game no matter how they set up the defense even Hawaii vs Air Raid on day 21 Hawaii torched them but on day 39 Air Raid somehow bottled Hawaii up something they havent done the last 4 match ups before all of which fell in the days 1-31 and day 39 within the second half Air Raid contains them. I bet we could run the same defense and offense from game 3 of Andes vs Air Raid and now andes wouldn't be able to put up the same numbers not even close

You don't want to know how I read this at first.

When you use Air Raid's defense as a model I can't even take you seriously. I am not gonna go too in depth since the scout shows 29 MO and 23 MO in the first 2 games. 0 MO in the third game.

Yes running was nerfed to a small degree but making blanket assumptions using box scores is only gonna get an

Obviously teams are still doing pretty well rushing the ball and obviously over the extent of a season people are going to not only get better in build but better in figuring out how to stop you. That is largely what makes being a full on run team so difficult is that people aren't worried about the pass so your only real way of punishing someone is via overpowering them.

That nerf hurts pretty bad when you have a balanced OL. Teams like QC who are built to rush Outside aren't really effected because you don't have CBs running around with massive amounts of BRB/HG.

Ya but you are going to find it hard running right down the pipe of a 5-2 or a Middle Overload. Which is what you find for the most part in 2 WR set. Like I said you have to overpower teams to make that work and teams are catching up a lot quicker than offense is pulling away. With caps on skills it makes it so that the only help to continue dominance is the SA's and you pretty much have to hit level 3 on any SA to make it a meaningful difference in the roll.
