Ultimately, tho, my biggest irritation with this whole debate is that nobody has once made a good case for this being okay:

Or this being okay:

But this being ZOMG OP!!!!!!!!!!

QCBC to 26 rushing yards http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/63836
Murder City 109.5 rushing yards http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/63029
Ronin 95 rushing yards http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/64210

Regardless that is besides the point. Those are teams using various rushes from different sets, not one play. But continue your crusade of ludicrous claims with no substance.

You don't build players specifically to stop 1 play.

So that play should by default, no matter what the builds are, just be meh?

So a private scrim and two games where the offense passed more than threw the ball? Why not also include the DADDY v LL game where you held LL to 12.5 yards rushing? I mean, I held DADDY to 5.5 yards rushing that game.

My claims, every single time, have been backed by being able to point at specific things in the sim. When I say QB Rollout can be stopped, I can post hundreds of plays where it gets stopped. When I say teams that spam QB Rollout can be beat, I can post games where they do in fact get beat.

Hell, I can even post a game where I beat a team that was cheating by using the HB at QB and spamming QB Rollout that way.

Post the game, if it's like your other "evidence" this should be amusing.

Did you ever think that they started passing that much because they couldn't run anywhere? Those are all predominant rushing teams i linked.

Why would I link to LL an all passing team? lol your arguments are just absurd.

Just to head off all the usual "But...but...but..." nonsense.

Minnesota is a very good team. The current #1 sophomore team.

They are absolutely built for outside running. In fact, like Yorick, they are run-only.

TxSteve might be an ass, but he's also a good coach except for the whole trying to cheat part in that game.

Oh, and we were using more than just Cat Blitz 2 Roll because there is a lot more than Cat Blitz 2 Roll that stops it.

Are every one of those plays against 5-2, Cat Blitz 2 Roll?

So let me get this straight.

Your argument that you can stop the run is predicated on stopping two teams that already had decided they couldn't run before they played you? Because, you can't exactly change tactics mid-game. So if they went primarily pass, they already had set a gameplan to do that.

And the LL thing was supposed to be absurd since I took the games you posted as absurd examples.

If you want me to believe you can shut down a good run team, the first step will be showing me that the teams you're playing are good run teams. For journeyman, that's Queen City and Doinitin Djibouti. Since you haven't played either of those teams, I'm pretty much at "I don't know if bhall can stop a run team or not, and I'm betting he doesn't either."

Yeah...and your CB got pancaked on EVERY one of those plays. Build run stopping CBs and you won't have that problem.

They are also good for any outside running, not just goalline. I am building a %100 zone defense with Vandelay Industries and the CBs are run stopping machines. It's all about how you build your defense.

Just FYI, I'd give more credit to zone defense than your CB's for that.

Yorick's CB's are all in the 25-30 and yet when you match us up against teams from almost any league, we have the #1 rush defense because it's zone which by its nature holds players out of the scrum so they can actually make plays.

The downside is that Yorick also has one of the worst pass defenses in their tier because zone leaves players 3-4 yards open, and even sophomore QB's throw passes fast enough that nobody is closing that gap in time.
